- At the last lesson we have discussed on the theme
‘Urbanization”. So is the urbanization positive
process?(Students give a reply to the questions)

Middle part - Thank you for your responds and today we will have a
5 minutes speaking session. Before we start I would like to show you
linking words that you can exploit in your speech. (Students
will be shown linking words)

according to the question. You can work individually
or in pairs make dialogue. ( students take cards and
prepare speech)

describe each of them?

7 minutes Students will be given essays. according to the format of essay
they have to find introduction body and conclusion.

Writing.
Students write introduction of an essay on a given topics.
1. Overpopulation of urban areas has led to numerous
problems. Identify one or two serious ones and suggest the
ways how governments and individuals can tackle these
problems.
2. In cities and towns all over the world high volume of traffic
is a problem. What are the causes of this and what actions
can be taken to solve this problem?
3. In many countries there is a shortage of housing due to a
growing population. Some people argue that new towns
should be built in the countryside, others support the Internet
