BELEN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Pursuant to DepEd order No. 40, s.2012 and DepEd order No. 55, s.2013, all school shall
adopt a child protection policy and mandated to adopt anti-bullying policies. Under these DepEd
Orders, all school are tasked to establish a Child Protection Committee (CPC) which will able
handle bullying cases.
Belen Elementary School fully recognizes the responsibilities for child protection,
through collaboration of Parents, Teachers, Barangay Officials and other stakeholders of the
community. Working cooperative towards safe, secure, positive and child friendly environment
in which all members of the school community can work and learn.

MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
between
Belen Elementary School
and
CHILD PROTECTION COMMITTEE (CPC)
This memorandum of understanding (MOU) sets for the terms and understanding between Belen
Elementary School and Child Protection Committee (CPC) as to their roles and responsibilities.
To form a more united action in implementing the urgent needs of the school in terms of child
protection, established a better understanding on the children, promote the general welfare and
interest of our students, we do hereby promise to ordain and adopts this memorandum of
understanding .
1. Initiate information dissemination programs and organize activities for the protection of
children.
2. Establish a system for identifying students who may suffering from significant harm based on
any physical emotional or behavioral signs.
3. Monitor the implementation of positive measures and effective procedures in providing the
necessary support for the child and for those who care for the child:
4. Ensure that the children’s rights to be heard are respected and upheld in all matters and
procedures affecting their welfare.
Duration:
This MOU is at-will and may be modified by mutual consent of authorized officials from Belen
Elementary School and the Child Protection Committee (CPC) members. This MOU shall
become effective upon signature by the authorized officials and will remain in effect modified or
terminated by anyone of the partners by mutual consent.
