Recognition Rites

Message from the Representative of Awardees

RYOVIN EDWARD LUNA

Academic Excellence Awardee
With High Honor

To our respected principal, Dr. Emma Merino, to our assistant school principal,
Atty. Arlyn C. Clerigo, to our guest of honor, to the excellent and esteemed
educators, to my schoolmates, to the proud parents and supportive visitors
present here today, I wish you a pleasant afternoon and I thank you for coming
here. It's a positive delight to see you all here. With pleasure, I extend you a
warm welcome to the recognition rites for Grade 11 Senior High School Students
here at Pambujan National High School.

Irregular- this word clearly defines this academic year that we've experienced.
The shift from distance learning to face-to-face classes caused a huge boost in
changing our learning surroundings, once again. I'm quite certain that this
change of pace has caused the students to feel out of order. Hence, Irregular,
due to the fact the road to success sometimes feels rough for us. Personally,
even if the momentum has changed, I feel like some things aren't the same
anymore. I'm pretty sure that you guys feel it, too. Oftentimes, going to school
does not feel the same as before. We already did this in the past, yet it feels
new.
Amidst the cycle of doubting and acceptance, we can't deny the fact that we are
now one step closer in realizing our dreams and enjoying the result of our
hardwork. Keep in mind this day and the feelings of pride and success it gave
you. Use that to advance toward your next major objective.

Congratulations! We made it. Our hardworks paid off and now we're opening a
new chapter in our Senior High School Journey. I hope you all are ready. Well,
the boat's going to sail even if you're not. So, better take this chance to grow
and learn more. As we celebrate our triumphs, let us not forget our teachers
who helped us put ourselves to where we are today. I'd like to give my deepest
gratitude to my adviser, Ma'am April Jelyn, as well as to my subject teachers that
helped me progress more as a student and a teenager; thank you. Thank you for
having faith in us and guiding us throughout this year. Your efforts are not futile,
it will surely help us in the near future. Also, to my parents, friends, and to
those people that didn't hesitate to offer me a helping hand during the times
where I feel like I can't do it anymore, I appreciate you and I'm beyond grateful
to have you.

Today marks the closing of yet another spectacular chapter in our lives, and I am
sure that many of us are already worried about starting the next one. Let's just
do our best and strive for excellence! Just like what Aristotle said, “The roots of
education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet.” The road might feel bumpy right
now, but I'm sure that it will feel smoother soon. We'll get there, right? Padayon
