    MANAGEMENT COUNCIL (BDRRMC) MEETING CONDUCTED ON JANUARY 13, 2022 AT
    2:00 O’CLOCK IN THE AFTERNOON AND HELD AT THE BARANGAY BINGAY
    MULTI-PURPOSE PAVEMENT (COVERED GYM), BARANGAY BINGAY, BORBON,
    CEBU.

    A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE UPDATED TYPHOON ODETTE RDANA REPORT IN THE


    BARANGAYS OF BINGAY, BORBON, CEBU AND NOT TO SHIFT PRIORITIES FROM
    COVID19 TO TYPHOON MODALITY.

    WHEREAS, the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (BDRRMC) was
    convened by Hon. NACIANSINA S. CATUBIG, Punong Barangay of Barangay Bingay, Borbon
    Cebu on January 13, 2022 through the facilitation of the Municipal/Area Coordinating Team;

    WHEREAS, Super Typhoon Rai, locally known as Odette, made its first landfall on 16 December
    2021, bringing torrential rains, violent winds, floods and storm surges to some municipalities of
    Cebu;

    WHEREAS, the province of Cebu including the Municipality of Borbon was declared as state of
    calamity due to Super Typhoon Odette:

    WHEREAS, A Rapid Disaster and Needs Analysis (RDANA) was conducted to affected barangays by the
    ACT and MCT Staff,

    WHEREAS, RDANA results was discussed and analyze by the BDRRMC through the facilitation of
    Municipal/Area Coordinating Team Staff;

    WHEREAS, RDANA analysis showed that the Municipality of Borbon has minimal effects and
    damages of properties cause by Super Typhoon Odette;

    WHEREAS, Kalahi-CIDSS is currently implementing the Disaster Response Operations Modality
    for COVID-19 Pandemic;

    WHEREAS, The Barangay have the option to shift priorities (sub-projects) if the impact is
    assessed to be more severe than those already identified under DROM for COVID-19;

    WHEREAS, after thorough discussion and careful review of the RDANA results, the Barangay
    Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (BDRRMC) finally approves and endorses the
    updated Typhoon Odette RDANA Result in the Barangays of Bingay, Borbon, Cebu and not to shift
    priorities from COVID19 to Typhoon Modality;

    NOW THEREFORE, on motion by Hon. NACIANSINA S. CATUBIG, and duly seconded by


    Hon. ALPIO Y. MONTEJO, BDRRMO, and the members present, it was resolved;  

    RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to approve and endorses the updated Typhoon


    Odette RDANA Result in the Barangays of Bingay, Borbon, Cebu and not to shift priorities from
    COVID19 to Typhoon Modality;

    RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this resolution will be furnished to the Regional Program
    Management Office, DSWD-FOVII, Cor. M.J Cuenco and Gen. Maxilom Ave. Cebu City, National
    Program Management Office, DSWD, Batasan Hills, Quezon City, and other partner agencies for
    information and appropriate action.

    UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED this 13th day of January, 2022 at the Barangay Bingay Multi-Purpose
    Pavement (Covered Gym), Municipality of Borbon, Cebu, Philippines.
