II. Program Background and Rationale

Rationale
The Re-Echo Orientation On Principal’s Training And Development Program is a training designed
by DepEd Schools Division of Cebu Province Sogod District through the Curriculum Implementation
Division.
This is a face-to-face (for Teachers) five-day training among 52 Teachers in Sogod District of the
Division of Cebu Province. Participants are teachers in elementary and secondary who are
performing teaching related works and functions.

This three-day \training aims to, further expand the participants’ skills and knowledge on
different digital teaching materials, systems and approaches that are useful in delivering quality
instruction.

Key topics to be discussed:

- Parent and Teacher Association


- Psychological Well-being of the Filipino Digital Youth

- Best Practices, Where Excellence is a Habit
- Engaging the Challenges of School Head in the 21st Century and Legal Solutions and Counter
Management Procedure

- Curriculum Leadership
- Revised Guidelines on School Based Management

End of Program Outputs:

By the end of the F3 Component, the participants would have developed the following
outputs:

 Make Educational Development Plan

Outcomes/Success Indicators:

- Participants were be able to understand the rational statement of this training


- Discuss the importance of the psychological well-being on our Filipino youth.
- Discuss the importance of ensuring quality education through virtual monitoring and administration.
- Discuss relevance of developing Basic Education Development Plan.
- Discuss the significance of legal solutions and counter management procedures.

III. Program Description :

The 3-day face-to-face training for teachers intends to develop the knowledge, skills of teachers among
the elementary teachers of Sogod District. Teachers will listen attentively and participate in the discussion
by writing their learnings in the mentimeter to the different topics to be discussed by the respective
speakers.
The District Supervisor will be the Over-all Training Manager and will see to it the successful and effective
implementation of this program.
Participants will be provided with meals and snacks to be charged to the School MOOE because there is a
face to face engagement in the training. There will be a smooth flow of the training and teachers will
attentively engage in the training if meals and snacks are provided.

IV. Target Learner’ Description

The 52 elementary teachers of Sogod District will serve as recipient of the various learning
opportunities which aims to advance their knowledge and skills on the different digital teaching
materials that will enable them to help learners’ address every potential challenges that might

come along in their journey of achieving quality education in the new normal .

VI. Program Learning Objectives

Purpose/s:

The “Re-Echo Orientation On Principal’s Training And Development Program” is a training for
elementary teachers of Sogod District who will be the advocates ready to initiate/support in its full
implementation.

Objectives:

By end of the program, the participants will be able to:


1. discuss the importance of the psychological well-being on our filipino youth.
2. discuss the importance of ensuring quality education through virtual monitoring and administration.
3. discuss relevance of developing basic education development plan.
4. discuss the significance of legal solutions and counter management procedures.
