My observation

I observed the children as look playful and innocent. They love and
enjoy playing. They also enjoy helping their parents fixing their
Christmas tree while playing. They also excited to the up-coming
celebration for the Christmas because many of their cousin will also
come.

Analysis

1. Children in Middle Childhood (ages 6-11) continue to grow in their

mental abilities, physical abilities, use of language, self-control,
friendship and social skills. They are usually able to think logically
and know the difference between fantasy and reality.
2. Children this age don’t understand rules and often are not
coordinated enough to playing tag, swimming (when at least 4
years old) tumbling, dancing and throwing. As they grow older
they might like to try skipping and bike riding.
3. During middle childhood, boys have more lean body per inch of
height than girls. These differences in body composition become
more significant during adolescence. Yes, because boys are fun of
body shaming.

eleven and a half, but it can begin as 8 or as late of 14 in boys

girl.

environment, able to communicate their needs and
demands in a way which is understandable to others.)
- Age of decreasing dependency (rapid control in body
development)
- Age of increased (inv) individuality (appearance and
patterns of behavior)
- Beginning of socialization (attention seeking attachment
behavior)

2. - The late childhood period is characterized by more

purposeful, industrious behaviour when compared to earlier
stages. New developmental tasks are highlighted as children
become focused on friendship formation, concrete mental
operations, skill learning, self-evaluation and team play.

3. Receptive Language Disorder- has difficulties with

understanding what is said to them. The symptoms vary
between children but, generally, problems with language
comprehension begin before the age of three years.
Children need to understand spoken language before they
can use language to express themselves.

- Expressive Language Disorder- have difficulty expressing

themselves through speech, writing or gesture. For many
children, the cause of expressive language disorder is
unknown.
4. Pencil skills- From drawing and writing to scribing and
coloring this fine motor skills is commonly practiced in the
classroom during academic activity sessions.
