LESSON 1 – Basic Concepts and Principles in Assessing Learning

 APPLICATION

A. Based on the lesson on the topic concepts and principles in assessment in


learning, select five core principles in assessing learning and explain them in
to your experience with a previous or current teacher in one of your
courses/subjects.

1. Assessment is learning-centered. In past term the subject EDUC 4 was
focus on special and inclusive education
and it is being part in normal education.
There was a task that our instructor give
us to make a presentation about special
and inclusive education. It open up our
mind about the child that has a different
physical or mental disabilities that should
always has part in education. They are
people that needed a learning to open
their mind about the world they live.
2. Assessment should be as One of my major subject was having a
authentic as possible.. task of visual demonstration. Our
instructor will teach us the correct flow of
the demonstration and materials should be
used. This video will be graded with
different teachers to make this output
authentically.

student in Grade 2 for 100 points. The School Grade System of the Student in Grade 2
will be scoring according to the Criteria.
