Part A – Multiplying Amoeba

Amoeba are single-celled organisms that multiply by dividing.


When an amoeba reaches its full size, it divides into two.

1. Complete the table below to show the total number of

A superball is thrown to the ground and it bounces up


to a height of 8 metres. The ball continues to bounce
and each time it reaches up to half the height of the
previous bounce.
