2023 MOVING UP CEREMONY SCRIPT

INTRO:
I: Moving up is the most awaited day in the life of all students for it marks the
success of their educational journey. Maupay nga kulop ha aton nga tanan!
Today marks a significant day as we witness the completion of our Grade 10
students’ 4-year junior high school journey in Vigan National High School.

Julie Ann………….

I: This point of the academic year signifies the culmination of many years of
hard work, dedication, and commitment in the relentless pursuit of knowledge.
Knowledge that will enable our students to embrace opportunities and take
challenges with clear vision and purpose.

Julie Ann………….

I: Ladies and gentlemen, we are about to begin the program. So, at this
moment, let us all welcome, the Candidates for Completion with their proud
parents.

Julie Ann………….

I: Let us all salute and give around of applause for the ever devoted and
dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff of Vigan National High School, the
designated Academic Head, Maam Clarissa A. Diga, the ever dynamic and
hardworking School Head, Mr. Joel E. Gloria, together with this year’s
Commencement Speaker, Dr. Grace S. Quinto.

Julie Ann………….

I: To finally start, may we request everyone to please rise as we give tribute to

our flags. Please remain standing for the presentation of tableau to be followed
by the singing of the National Anthem and the Prayer. Ladies and gentlemen,
behold, the entrance of colors.

Julie Ann………….
I: You may now take your seats. Thank you! To formally welcome us all, let us
have Aira Jean A. Cabello, recipient of High Honor Award, to do the honor of
imparting her warm remarks for everyone.

(Aira’s Welcome Remarks)

Julie Ann…………

I: Thank you, our Alitaptap dancers for that wonderful and mesmerizing
performance. Finally, it is the moment of truth for our candidates. And to do
the honor of presenting this years’ candidate for moving-up, please welcome Sir
Joel E. Gloria, the School Head of Vigan National High School. This will be
followed by the acceptance and confirmation of our completers by our equally
respected District in-Charge, Sir Oscar G. Sabarillo.

(Sir Joel and Sir Oscar’s Part)

Julie Ann……….

I: Thank you Sir Oscar Sabarillo for that kind and inspiring words you have
shared to us. Thank you also for gracing us with your precious time and for
sharing words of wisdom to everyone. At this juncture, we are all gathered to
honor the incredible achievements of the completers seated before us.
Graduates, the fruit of your hard work and sacrifices, will finally be reaped as
we move on to the distribution of certificates of completion, to be handed to
you by our School Head, Sir Joel E. Gloria, and our District in-Charge, Sir
Oscar G. Sabarillo.

Julie Ann……….

I: Wow! That was a heartfelt rendition of moving up song emphasizing hope,

courage amidst challenges, and embracing the new chapter of life. Indeed,
music is the expression of the soul and today your life begins with new journey
and path. And before you take the new chapter of your educational endeavor, it
is a perfect time to listen to words from the ever-supportive Chairperson of
Brgy. Vigan, Hon. Sozima Bagarino. Let us give her a round of applause.

(Sozima’ message)
Julie Ann……….
I: Thank you dear students for that one-of-a-kind refreshing courtship dance
performance. And to do the honor of introducing our Keynote Speaker, let us
all welcome, the always gorgeous and fresh Grade 10 Teacher, Ms. Christelyn
Mae C. Celada.

(Celada and Speaker’s Part)

Julie Ann…………

I: Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts, for giving importance and
acknowledging the people who had helped you in achieving your dream. Truly,
we should never forget those people who stick with us not just in good times
but more so in bad times. At this juncture, to lead his fellow completers in
their oath for their alma mater, let us call Kevin Baluis, with High Honors, for
the Pledge of Loyalty.

(Kevin Pledge of Loyalty)

Julie Ann……….

I: Thank you completers for that emotional performance tribute to your

parents. As we are about to end our ceremony, let us hear remarks from one
and only Academic Head, Designate who is also one of the adviser of our
completers, Maam Clarissa A. Diga for the closing message. A round of
applause please.
