Detailed Lesson Plan in Mapeh-ARTS II

I- Objectives;
At the end of 45 minutes lesson the pupils are able to do the following.

a.Identify the five basic shapes


b. Draw a representation of object using the five basic shapes.
c. Appreciate the importance of shapes in an artwork.

Discussion:
Shape - is a flat object with no
open sides, lines that touch
each other on both ends.

Circle- A round, two


dimensional shape . All points
on the edge of the circle are at
the same distance from the
center.

Square- A closed, two


dimensional shape with four
equal sides. A square is a
quadrilateral.

Rectangle; A two dimensional


shape having four sides and four
corners. Its two sides meet at
right angles. Rectangle also has
four angles.

Oval- A shape rather like an egg


or an eclipse, which may be two
dimensional or three
dimensional.

Triangle- A triangle has three


sides ,three vertices and three
angles.

certain people’s face, animals
house or anything that you see
around us. And after that one of
the member of the group will
present their output and tell
somethings about your work Yes teacher.
