Load and Trim Sheet by Abel Samuel MPL 50
The Traffic Load is the total mass of passengers, baggage and freight, including any
'non revenue load'.
Part A(Load sheet) is the loading document which itemises the mass and its distribu-
tion
i.e. operating mass, traffic and fuel load. Part B indicates how each mass in turn
affects the position of the CG in terms of MAC. The ZFM and the TOM must be
within the relevant operational limits of the graphical envelope at the end of part B.
The loading summary of the Load and Trim Sheet, Part A, is split into 3 sections.
Section 1 is used to establish
the limiting take-off mass,
maximum allowable traffic load and

underload before last minute change (LMC). B- Baggage

Part B(TRIM SHEET)
Data in part A will be loaded into part B of the trim sheet. It deals with the effects
on the centre of gravity of loading the traffic load and the take-off fuel, and the
determination of stabiliser trim position for take-off. It will enable the pilot to
establish the zero fuel mass and take-off mass CG as a percentage MAC, for the
combination of passenger, cargo and fuel load. The landing mass centre of gravity
position is seldom required because it will remain within limits due to the fuel usage
during flight.
