The maximum revolutions of the spindle and the maximum diameter of tive too! will be indicated in the main features chart of the machine. ‘The operator should work in the areas named “work areas". All the operations of loading and unloading of workpieces and manual change of tool can be done in these areas specially protected. ‘The.machine is not intended for running at the atmosphere exposure or materials with risk of fire explosion, For the operations of loading and unloading of workpieces or tools and for cleaning and swarf removal the operator should have gloves, 0.2 INSTALLATION OF THE MACHINE ‘The machine should be instal in a place allowing the location and haulage of workpieces with safety for the operator. ‘The machine should be bolted down, according with the foundation drawing. In the foundation drawing is indicated the maximum space occupied at the ends of the traverses. In these dimensions are included the minimum distances to fixed elements like walls, columns, etc.. order to avoid being reached by moving elements. 0.3 OPERATORS WORK POSITION ‘The operator's work positions are indicated in the corresponding drawings. In the operator’s work positions, the user is protected against catchings and hurlings by fixed or moving splashguarding protections. The moving splashguarding protections to accede 10 workpieces or tools are equipped by electromechanical devices. At the furtherst zones of the spindle the isolation of the working areas is performed by moving and flexile elements, In despite of the above mentioned, at certain working conditions there may be the possibility of swarf, broken tools and coolant projections. In these cases the user should study and put into practice the best solution to avoid the risk according to experience, OPERATORS HANDBOOK Papi03 CF-22 calpan N. Lu t ‘The machine CORREA model CF-22 is a ram, moving table, bed type milling machine equipped with a CNC system. ‘The machine features three controlled axes: = Table longitudinal movement. Ram cross movement Z = Ram vertical movement All three axes are driven by brushless type A.C. servo motor units coupled to double nut recirculating ball leadscrews. These axes' motion is selected by the pertaining directional Pushbuttons located in the control panel or by programming the X-Y-Z functions in the CNC system. The ram vertical travel is hydraulically counterbalanced with a nitrogen filled accumulator. A safety brake is provided to operate in the event of a current supply cut-off or a failure in the counterbalance circuit. Features a directly AC motor driven spindle (without gear box) with stepless adjustable speeds. CORREA machines are delivered after an adequate running proof period. It is highly recommended when the machine has been standing idle for a certain period of time to perform a slight running proof period without reaching the maximum revolutions in the first 20 hours, 1 i CF-22 OPERATOR ‘S HANDBOOK Pag. 1-3 SPECIFICATIONS L2TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS CHART (CARACTERISTICAS TECNICAS » TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS CARACTERSTIQUES TECHNIQUES »CARATERSTIC TECME craiw | ceaa/as ae cere am] 2.000700 | 2.500 x 700 esa a een tes sama | sx TwYOIA i 125 ns RECORRIDOS. Clean these areas thoroughly with rags and cleaning oil before starting up the machine, Special care must be paid when loading/untoading to avoid damaging the feedback scales and/or LS. stops carriers. Place wood blocks in those areas where the lifting cables/slings may damage these scales. Pag. 2-4 OPERATOR ‘S HANDBOOK CP.22 ‘caLmaD] INSTALLATION oer IT IS COMPULSORY that the machine be installed on a concrete foundation and duly bolted down as set forth in our standards in order to obtain the geometry specifications stated in our Inspection Certificate, Whilst the machine is lifted off the Moor to-be.placed en the foundation, insert the anchoring bolts through the corresponding holes in the base of the machine and fasten them with their conrresponding nuts. Once all the bolts are in their respective housings, place the machine on the concrete base ensuring that the anchoring bolts coincide with the holes in the concrete base, Once the machine is placed, a previous prelevelting should be done. Then pour the concrete in the holes to fill them up. The machine will then be levelled off only after the concrete has set. For a good levelling, losen the anchoring bolts’ nuts and adjust the position of the machine with the levelling jacks and locking nuts until the geometry tolerances stated in the Inspection Certificate are attained. Then tighten the locking nuts of the bolts, DEFINITE LEVELLING OF THE MACHINE In order (o obtain the tolerances stated in the Inspection Certificate, proceed as follows: i a) LEVELLELING OF THE BED.- The bed shall be levelled off within the tolerances stated in Point G1 of the Inspection Certificate by setting the level on the table and then tightenning the nuts of the locking bolts of the bed. b) LEVELLING OF THE COLUMN UNIT.- Check the squareness (with a measuring square or granite) of the table clamping surface to the vertical slideways in both directions. ‘The readings shall be within those stated in the Inspection Certificate, PERIODIC LEVELLINGS.-It is highly recommended to check out the machine ‘s level status once a year, in order to correct the likely shifting action of the soil. CAUTION. It is recommended to set the level on three different points of the table, in the middle and at both ends, to ensure a proper levelling of the bed, “ OPERATOR’S HANDBOOK Pag. 3-1 CF22 CALIDAD) TNC 410/426 MACHINE’S OPERATION 161098/9671912.41 3.0 HOOK-UP TO THE MAINS CURRENT SUPPLY 3.1 ELECTRICAL CABINET 3.2 PENDANT PANEL 3.3 ALARMS 3.4 "E" FUNCTIONS 3.5 "S" FUNCTIONS 3.6 "M" FUNCTIONS 3.7 TOOL COOLANT FLOW 3.8 RAM GROWTH COMPENSATION DEVICE LY] ra [Z| *#*QPTIONS*#* 3.9 HR-410 HANDWHEEL 3.10 IV AXIS 3.11 TOUCH PROBE 3,12 MACHINING AREA PROTECTION- SPLASH GUARDING 3.13 DATA WINDOW 3.14 CHIPS CONVEYOR 3.15 SPINDLE ORIENTATION 3.16 HEAD 3.17 TOOL MAGAZINE Pag. 3-2 OPERATOR’S HANDBOOK AS cr22 "INC 410/426 MACHINE’S OPERATION 141098/9671912.1 K-UP. ‘The connection to the mains supply will be done to the terminals L1, L2, L3 and PE, located inside the electrical cabinet, The cables will be inserted through the fitting installed in the cabinet for this purpose, "The current supply shall be within 380 and 420 volts. S.LLUBRICATION OF THE X-Y-Z AXES SLIDEWAYS ‘These elements are lubricated by an AUTOMATIC METERED OIL LUB SYSTEM. “This system consists of an open circuit formed by a pump and main feed line that connects a number of feeders (distributors with metering units) located on the various elements to be lubricated and a pressure gage installed at the end of the main line to ensure that the oil reached the far end of the circuit. This pressure gage is located in the bed. ‘The lub-central unit is located on the rear side of the column. “The lubrication action is automatically controlled by time or by programming axis travel length. The lub motorpump will be activated when the machine's power is switched ON or when a programme is started. Then the main line builds up with pressured oil and, at the same time, discharges the oil in the metering units, When the pressure reaches 35 bars, a pressure gage will stop the motorpump. ‘The pressure release in the main line will let the oil flow into the metering units chambers ready for the next lub action.
