3.3 PLACING OF THE MACHINE.
When you are preparing the place to install the machine, please keep in mind, that to work safely
and to make maintenance, this equipment requires some obstacles free area around the machine.
To placement of the machine, must be done in a solid, hard and leveled ground.
When working, watch out for the safety of third persons, near the working area, place warning
signboards.
This condition is valid for the vertical and horizontal working machine.

3.4. CHANGING FROM VERTICAL TO HORIZONTAL POSITION
The lifting and movement of the machine should always be done with the help of cables
(compatible with the machine’s weight) placed on the existing lifting eyebolt mounted on the upper
part of your machine: all the weight lays on the bottom of the machine’s structure.
If you want to change the position of the machine (Vertical to Horizontal) the movement
should be performed as follows:
1. Lift the machine using cables (using a crane, a bridge crane or other lifting apparatus);
2. The machine will stand suspended on air;
3. After coming to a complete stop, it can be loaded down again to its position.

3.5 EMISSIONS (NOISE DEBIT)
When the machine is loaded and working the noise level is lower than 70 db.
During the rotation of the rolls be careful don’t approach the rolls.
The working place is in front of the machine. Adjust the position of the control panel leaving some
space between the control and the machine.
The material must be placed in front of the machine.
DANGER!
When the machine is working and the rolls are moving, don’t approach to the material.

5.1 EXTRACTING THE PACKAGE
To protect your machine during the transport AMOB PROFILE AND PIPE BENDING MACHINE
are covered with plastic film material.
When you take off the plastic protection, check if there is any damaged part, if yes call the
shipping agency and inform the manufacturer company.
- Children must not be in contact with the package material
- The package must be pulled out with gloves.
- Various parts of the machine are lubricating with oil. The oil may be cleaned with diesel or a
solvent.
This machine should be placed away from dusty environments and equipments that produce
strong vibrations on the pavement.
To guarantee the long live of this machine, she must be placed in a leveled floor.
After place the machine, confirm 24 hours later if the pavement didn’t collapsed.
After the first control repeat this procedure every year.

6. OPERATE THE MACHINE
The supply lines are L1, L2, L3 + N + PE terminals (depending on the models)
When installing the machine make sure it is properly grounded for a better protection of
the operating personnel.
Take the control panel near the side machine and put the plug inside the socket.
After the electrical connections the electrician must control the rotation of the motor. Follow-up the
description below:
To press on the foot pedal, control the rotation arrow (picture A), if the arrow of the rotation is
correct, countinue to work.
If the rotation of the rolls is not according to the picture arrow, press the emergency stop button to
stop the machine.
To correct this situation, cut the energy of the machine and change the phase R and S inside the
socket.

7. GET TO WORK.
Did you read the user manual completely?
Did you understand everything?

7.1 PROFILES.
All kinds of profiles and tubes are compatibles to be bent in our machines. The results of bending
depend always on the quality of the material used.
If the profile has a steel compound, a spring effect is to be obtained due to the elasticity of the
material: in this case a change on the diameter of the bend should be taken into account. This does
not happen when using mild steel.
When working with short bending radius it is necessary to choose a material with larger wall
thickness, which should be proportional to the tube diameter.
To avoid ovalization, the tube can be filled with sand and its ends covered with silicone or with a
simple cork.
Square and rectangular tubes tend to flatten. To avoid this, the choice of the correct material should
be done according to the previous suggestions.
If the section of the profile is not constant (with a slight difference of 1/10) some irregularities may
occur on the bending diameter.
We strongly recommend bending the profiles prior to any surface treatment since the compression
of the material on the interior of the curve may produce some damage on the surface. Also the
profiles should be, if possible, cleaned and completely dried.
20
Installing and Maintenance MAH-AC
7.3. THE STANDARD ROLLS.
With appropriate and correct placement of the different rolls, all standard profiles can bended. For
better results some profiles requires special rolls.
(The bending capacity is indicated on the machine.)
ATTENTION!
Prepare three or four pieces of the material to be bent, (+/-) 100 cm. Introduce the first piece
between the rolls and perform a bending test.
(for better results it can be useful to use superior lengths)
On these tests use the original pieces and never the previous bent or straightened ones since the
result would be different.
Important: keep the lower rolls position values (Showned on the display)
The upward movement of the rolls must be made as simultaneously as possible. Not to put
extra pressure on only one of the axles.
Put the profile you want to bend, move the lower rolls to the position, and start the bending, when
the curve passes on the lateral guides, push them front pressuring the profile to make the spiral.
21
Installing and Maintenance MAH-AC
ATTENTION!
Be careful, about the working space needed to perform the bending operations.

7.6. HOW TO BEND MATERIAL.
FORM 1: The movement of the rolls is indicated in form 1. The A rolls is assembled to the
machine. The B rolls are hydraulic movable.
FORM 2: Place the material straight between the rolls. Pull to the axel B1 roll. The material is
ready to bend.
FORM 3: Move the roll B1 in the control panel till you get the desired diameter.
FORM 4: Move the roll B2 in the control panel till you get the desired diameter

7.12. RECTANGLE CROSS SECTION
If the thickness of the profile it’s high, you can bend with standard rolls. If not you must use
special rolls.
Especially for the profile with small thickness the outside face of the bend can collapse.
To stop that situation the profile must be filled with sand.
29
Installing and Maintenance MAH-AC
7.13. ANGLE
Asymmetric profiles in general and angles in particular require side strengtheners to avoid
deformations on the material, which frequently arise. While bending an external wing it is
necessary to use the side rolls mounted on the machine. The left side straightener should rest
against the bar; the right side straightener should be slightly inclined, pulling the bar in order top
get the correct adjustment.
For better results special rolls are required.
30
Installing and Maintenance MAH-AC
7.14. ANGLE
This is one of the most difficult bending jobs and the machine should have special strengtheners
mounted (available on request). The supplied support for these strengtheners should be mounted
on the upper shaft the profile must always be inserted between the left and right rollers. Once of
the wings of the profile must be turned towards the upper roll and the other wing turned to the
machine. The extra small roller “A” compresses towards the lower part of the wing while the “B”
roller slightly forces the profile horizontally.

Optional: hydraulic guide rolls machines; moving from the control panels buttons.
ATTENTION!
Make sure that when you start the bending process
the profile will not crash with the side roll.
