INSTRUCTION: Look for 10 global health issues and concerns that the World Health Organization and
member-nations are facing.
C. Presentation
The teacher will present the topic of the lesson today.
D. Discussion
The teacher will present the topic by reading first the objectives/goal of the lesson
The teacher will eplain what is global health
The teacher will discuss the The 10 Global Health Trends, Issues and Concerns with pictures/videos
that serves as example
The teacher will discuss the Global Health Initiatives with corresponding importance
The teacher will discuss the Millennium Development Goals with corresponding process to achieve
the MDG
Lastly, teacher will give an end topic question on How important it is for a student like you to know
the different healthinitiatives, the MDG and different global health issue? and As a student, how will
you impart or share to other people especially in your
community the importance of what you have learned?
E. Formative Check
The students will be asked the following questions:
1. How can global health initiatives affect or improve lives of people around the globe?
2. What will the world be like if health issues and concerns are not properly addressed by peoples
around the world?
F. Application
INSTRUCTION: The teacher make a four(4) group. The student will create a poster about Global Health
Issues and the score will be base on the criteria given. ( 10 minutes)
