PROCEDURE: A. Pre- Activity

Identification game:
 The students will choose the meta strips in the box that contain the basic summary steps
in institutional washing.
 The will arrange it in chronological order.
 Let the student differentiate the institutional from domestic housekeeping.
B. Procedure
A. ACTIVITY
 Motivation: What can you say?
 Show pictures, then the students will describe its differences and commonalities.

Guide Question:
 What are commonalities of the two picture?
 How do they differ from one another?
 Which picture shows an institutional washing area? How about domestic washing area? Why?

C. ABSTRACTION: Lecture/Discussion will be done using a powerpoint presentation.

D. Analysis
Guide questions:

 What are the different equipment use in housekeeping and household services?
 What are their function?
 Are all the equipment given can be used at home? Why?
 What equipment can be used in domestic housekeeping? In institutional housekeeping?

E. Application: Game . Now I know it is your turn______________.


 One student will pic a picture of the equipment and match it in the function posted on the
board.
 If the answer of the student is correct, she/he choose one of her/his to do the activity by
saying “ Now I know it is your turn (name of classmate)”. Until all the equipment was
identified

Generalization:
*What is the importance of having a functional laundry equipment at home and in at work?
*How will we choice equipment to be use in washing?

IV. EVALUATION:

Identify the following:

_____2. This is use to iron fabrics like silk and chiffon. (Steam presser)
_____3. It is use to deliver the guest laundry. (Laundry cart)

_____5. It is use to iron pillow case and bed sheets. (Flat work Ironer)
