"Do": The verb "do" is used as an auxiliary verb to form


questions, negatives, and emphatic statements. It is also
used for emphasis or to add intensity to a verb. Here are
some examples:

Questions: Do you like chocolate? Did they arrive on


time?

Negatives: I do not understand. She does not know the


answer.

Emphasis: I do love ice cream! He does work hard.

"Have": The verb "have" is used as an auxiliary verb to


form perfect tenses and the perfect aspect. It is also
used in expressions like "have to" or "have got to" to
indicate obligation or necessity. Here are some
examples:

Present perfect: They have finished their work. She has


seen that movie.

Past perfect: We had already eaten when they arrived.


He had finished his homework.

Future perfect: I will have completed the project by


tomorrow. She will have left by the time you arrive.

Obligation/necessity: I have to go to the store. She has


got to finish her assignment.
