Determine if it is a minor injury that can be treated on-site or if it requires immediate medical
attention.

▪ Call for Help: If the injury is severe or life-threatening, immediately call emergency services or
activate the designated emergency response protocol. Provide the exact location and details of
the incident to the emergency operator.

▪ Provide Comfort and Reassurance: While waiting for medical help to arrive, provide comfort

is on the way.

▪ Administer First Aid: If the injury is minor and can be treated on-site, follow the appropriate first

location and use them accordingly. Examples of first aid measures include cleaning and dressing
wounds, applying pressure to control bleeding, immobilizing fractures, or providing basic pain
relief.

with the injured person. Explain the actions being taken, reassure them, and keep them informed
about the next steps.

process. This may include helping them contact their emergency contacts, arranging
transportation to a medical facility if required, or providing any additional assistance they may
need.

any contributing factors or areas for improvement. This may involve assessing the effectiveness
of the first aid response, identifying any hazards that contributed to the incident, or reviewing the
