Say: Let’s look at closely what we did in the activities that we had earlier. What did you
actually do?
Say: Let’s take a look at the roles and responsibilities of family members. Let’s
read altogether.
Directions: Let each learner translate the English terms of the members of the
family in Filipino. If the learners will fail to, the teacher will model how they are
said and let the learners follow.
“Post it”
Directions: Group the class into two. Get the Concept Web ready. Give one group the
flashcards with names of the family members written in English and the other in Filipino.
Let the first group post their cards on the space provided to be followed by the second
group. Each one has to say the words aloud. The answers of the two groups must coincide
to be correct.

Directions: (For the Learning Facilitator) Tulongan ang bata na mabasa ang mga pangalan ng
kasapi ng pamilya sa Wikang English at sa Wikang Filipino. Lagyan ng tsek (/) ang puwang
sa tapat ng bawat salitang mabasa ng bata na mag-isa at hayaan lang muna ang mga salitang
hindi pa kayang mabasang mag-isa. Ipadala pabalik sa guro ang Activity Sheet na ito.
Directions: Give each learner a set of drawing materials and let each one
draw their family. Call each one to tell his/her story. Allow them to use their
mother tongue in expressing themselves as long as they will use the terms
of the members of the family in English and Filipino
