My Bad Day on Sunday
I had a terrible day yesterday. First, I woke up an hour late because my alarm clock didn’t go off.
Then, I was in such a hurry that I burned my hand when I was making breakfast. After breakfast,
I got dressed so quickly that I forgot to wear socks.

Next, I ran out of the house trying to get the 9:30 bus, but of course I missed it. I wanted to take a

Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs

Once upon time, there was a wicked queen. As part of her daily beauty routine, the Wicked
Queen asked her Magic Mirror, “Who is the fairest one of all?” It told that Snow White, her
blossoming stepdaughter was the fairest one .
In an envious rage, the queen ordered a woodsman to kill Snow White, who has just met the
handsome and endearing Prince, in the forest. Once there, however, the woodsman found that he
could not do the deed and admonished the princess to hide. He returned to the queen with a pig’s
heart, which he claimed it belonged to Snow White.
Frightened by the dark, stormy forest, Snow White ran wildly through the trees until she
collapsed because of exhaustion in the forest. After she took a nap. She woke up and realized
that she was in the forest. She walked in the forest and finally found an empty cottage.
Shocked by the decrepit condition of the cottage, Snow White enlisted the help of the animals to
clean it up, and then fell asleep in an upstairs bedroom, which has been furnished with seven tiny
beds. While Snow White were sleeping, the owners of the beds, the Seven Dwarfs : Sleepy,
Dopey, Doc, Sneezy, Grumpy, Bashful and Happy returned from working at the local diamond
mine and discovered the snoozing princess.
After much confusion, Snow White struck a deal with the Dwarfs, She offered her domestic
services in exchange for room and board. To Grumpy’s dissatisfaction, Snow White turned the
household upside down and instigated positive changes in the Dwarfs’ life.
The Dwarfs found happiness. When the evil queen learned from the Magic Mirror that Snow
White was still alive, she transformed herself into an old hag and brought a poison apple. She
went to the Dwarfs’ cottage.
Lured by the queen, the innocent Snow White ate the apple and fell into a death like sleep, the
curse can be broken only when she is kissed by her first true love. The queen was satisfied that
Snow White was doomed, she rushed back toward her castle but she was chased and fell by the
Dwarfs to a cliff.
When Snow White was placed in the woods in a glass-domed coffin built by the Dwarfs, a prince
came. Her tranquil beauty entranced the prince, then the prince kissed her. Snow White opened
her eyes and woke up. They fell in love and got married. They lived happily in the palace.

Raffi Ahmad

KI HAJAR DEWANTARA
On May 2, 1889 Ki Hajar Dewantara was born in Yogyakarta. The original name of Ki Hajar
Dewantara is Raden Mas Soewardi Soeryaningrat. He comes from a family of Yogyakarta
Kingdom. Raden Mas Soewardi Soeryaningrat was renamed Ki Hajar Dewantara when he
