TOPIC: CARE FOR THE EAR
Name: _______________________________________________ Date: ___________________
FACTS/TIPS
➢ The ear and its parts are very important; therefore, we must take
good care of them.
➢ Never push things in our ears as this can damage the eardrum
and lead to deafness.
➢ Hairs in the ear keep out dirt. The outer end of the ear canal can
be cleaned by an oil swab or q-tip.
➢ Wax is produced in the ear canal to clean and moisten it. Excess
wax can cause partial deafness or buzzing in the ear and should
be removed by the doctor.
➢ Avoid too loud sounds as they can damage the eardrum and
lead to deafness.
