PROFESSIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE:


Position: Operations Coordinator (October 2021 – March 2022)
Agency: Geita Packaging – Geita, Tanzania
Responsibilities:
1. Provided administrative tasks and logistics support, such as communicating with clients
through telephone and emails, arranging schedules and appointments, producing reports
and evaluations, training new employees, and serving as the bridge of information
between different departments.
2. Help in management of daily operational activities and to oversee the progress of various
departments in organization, ensuring that all operations meet the set goals, meet
customer expectation and adhere to the company's policies and regulations.
3. Controlled material inventor, sales and marketing management, data management and
focused on production of eco-friendly paper bags.
4. Supervised the procurement of supplies, contract negotiations, sales monitoring, and even
maintenance operations within the company.
5. Contact suppliers or vendors to collect and gather all necessary package and product
specifications, printing information, limitations.
6. Follow up on pending information from suppliers such as missing specification
information, cost estimate agreements, feedback on routing of proofs, and invoices.

Agency: Mwanza Regional Office – Mwanza, Tanzania

1. Provided administrative support and attended to the Human Resources


requirements of all the regional Directorates.
2. Supported in arranging different meetings such as directors meeting, departmental
meetings to discuss the various matters in each department, addressing challenges
and the way forward to enable smooth regionality functions particularly in project
development.

Procedures are administered in such a way as to protect the interests of both the
municipality and its employees, handle compliance with certain standards such as

4. Provided Hiring and Onboarding support through collaboration with other

oversee the interview, communicate job offer details to the final candidate.

targets. This helps in promotion and identification of training needs to the employees.
