Responsibilities
Coordinate all the processes of recruitment including advertisements, tests, interviews,
selections and follow up with clients and candidates.
Facilitate Training for all our clients.
Review and updating recruitment and induction processes and policies
Conduct Background checks and verify references for new hires
Modify Job Descriptions within the organization
Attend meetings, take minutes and follow up to ensure decisions have been implemented within
the set timeline
Conduct telephone screening interviews and face to face interviews.

Position: Volunteer Project Assistant
Project summary:
Kakuma refugee camp school Agri-nutrition project is under WASH programme. It’s funded by GIZ
and implemented by Amref health Africa.It targets 58,027 students, 916 teachers, parents of JFFLS
members from 20 schools within the refugee camp, and 210 households from the host community.
The beneficiaries of the project are students, teachers, parents of JFFLS members, and the community
at large.
Responsibilities:
 Prepared project progress reports, annual and quarterly work plans.
 Provided monthly M&E and quarterly updates to the Project Officer and Program
Management team on the status of project implementation (targets, challenges risk etc.)
 Assisted in rolling-out the Project Performance Monitoring Plan (PMP)
 Assisted in development of effective systems for data collection best practices and lessons
learnt in the field and carried out 3 success stories/cases studies.
 Trained 5 project interns on how to complete data collection forms, writing success and case
stories as well as simple data collection mechanisms and trained 450 learners on conservation
of agriculture.
 Assisted in reviewing project progress through representing our team in review meetings with
our partners UNHCR, LWF and GIZ and preparing weekly reports.
 Administered office work like printing project documents scanning and sending them to
management like quotations.

Kakuma refugee camp.
