To be very honest, the journey to complete this task was quite difficult considering that it was just
the two of us and we did not come from a business background. We are all new in this business.
In fact, it took us a long time to think about the product we wanted to sell that will help us ease
the task given to both of us. However, as the saying goes, after every storm there is a rainbow,
may Allah SWT reward each and everyone mentioned above with an abundance of blessings.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Sizkha Kudapan is a food sales business that prioritizes selling traditional Malaysian biscuits and
snacks that are either unknown to many or biscuits that are loved by all Malaysians. The name
Sizkha Kudapan itself was inspired from the word "kakak" which was shortened to "sis" and finally
changed to the spelling siz to look more modern while "Kha'' was taken from Ahmad Shaheer's
nickname which is Khaer. Sizkha Snacks offer a various Malaysian traditional snacks and biscuits
such as kuih loyang madu, kuih kuih rotan, biskut bangkit nyor, kuih cakar ayam, kacang tumbuk
and kuih kapal terbang. We operate our business through a hybrid system which means that our
beloved customers are able to purchase our products via online and face-to-face purchases. By
that, our beloved customers are free to choose the purchase system they want to purchase goods
from Sizkha Kudapan.
For the purpose of purchasing any product from Sizkha Kudapan, customers can contact us to
make any purchase through Facebook and WhatsApp applications. Facebook is our primary
channel for promote and be a communication platform that brings customers closer to us and a
large number of customers use it to find the products they want. We use the Facebook platform
to promote and advertise our products on Facebook. Also, WhatsApp works as a form of backup
communication for Sizkha Kudapan. Through the application, customers can place product orders
directly by contacting us exclusively on WhatsApp via the link that has been placed on the Sizkha
Kudapan Facebook page. In addition, Sizkha Kudapan also provides cash delivery services for
customers who are close to our location, while for customers who are far from the store location,
Sizkha Kudapan also provides courier delivery services.
Sizkha Kudapan is located at UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI MARA (UiTM) MERBOK, Kedah. The
reason we chose this location to open a snack shop is because this area is close to our target
market, where the location of the Sizkha Kudapan shop is close to a residential area and close to
schools and MRSM Merbok. From here, we can attract more customers to try and make
purchases from Sizkha Kudapan. In addition, there is also a delivery courier close to the Sizkha
Kudapan store, which is J&T express, with this, the delivery time can be reduced and Sizkha
Kudapan customers can enjoy fresh products at an immediate rate. Our target market is people
who are interested in traditional cakes to be used as snacks in their free time. This is so because
there is no age limit that can be explained as this traditional cake and snack is loved by all walks
of life regardless of age.

Last but not least, Our business uses the hard sell and soft sell as our main strategies in marketing
to achieve our targeted sales. By these strategies, it may attract lots of customers despites of
giving them some knowledge about our products. By that, Sizkha Kudapan is able to achieve our
targeted sales during our opening hour.

2.0 INTRODUCTION TO BUSINESS

Sizkha Kudapan is a business partnership that focuses on selling traditional Malaysian cakes that
are a favorite of all walks of life regardless of age. The name Sizkha Kudapan itself is inspired by
the nickname of one of the founders of Sizkha Kudapan and the word “Kudapan” is inspired by
the products we want to sell, which are “kudap- kudapan”.

2.1 ORGANIZATIONAL CHART
Sizkha Kudapan is a partnership business run by two friends who have just graduated from UiTM Merbok
with a Diploma in Public Administration, namely NUR SAIYIDAH ATHIRAH and AHMAD SHAHEER.
A partnership business is an easy business because it only involves two people in running and ensuring that
the business runs smoothly. This is so because the tasks can be divided equally between the two founders,
additional problem solving and addition of ideas can also be carried out easily between these two friends.

2.3 DESCRIPTION OF PRODUCTS
Sizkha Kudapan is a business that focuses mainly on traditional food. Our signature traditional
biscuits and snacks is the Kuih Loyang Madu. It is our signature food because of its unique
appearance which resembles a honeycomb or rosette. Not just that, we also sell products such
as Kuih Buah Rotan, Kacang Tumbuk, Kuih Kapal Terbang, Kuih Cakar Ayam and Biskut Bangkit
Nyior. There are many varieties of Malaysia traditional biscuits and snacks that we can sell but
we chose the most high demand of Malaysia traditional food and snacks. So, our customers can
enjoy their traditional biscuits and snacks or call it “Kuih Tradisional” according to their preference.
We choose to sell traditional biscuits and snacks because we want to maintain people's
connection with the heritage. This is because in this new generation, traditional food is slowly
fading and were replaced by new recipes that were created by the new generation. In addition,
traditional biscuits and snacks also are a high demand product that is rarely seen and sold by
others. The consumption of traditional biscuits and snacks also was quite high but the widespread
use of these traditional biscuits and snacks was low. So, we aim to promote traditional biscuits
and snacks as food is a powerful way of bringing people together. Traditional biscuits and snacks
also not only can be found during celebrations like Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Hari Raya Haji but it
also can be made as a daily snack. This is because it is also easy to carry anywhere and it is also
convenient and easy to consume while on the move. This also could be linked with the perspective
of customers which want products that are easy to eat, portable and ready to eat food.

As the owner of our company, we are responsible for creating a Facebook page to advertise and
promote the goods and services we provide to customers and also to the public who use the
Facebook application to attract their attention to buy our products. By creating a Facebook
account to promote and advertise the goods and services we provide, this step is a very important
step because it is the beginning of Sizkha Kudapan's business journey. Through the
establishment of our Facebook page, we were able to spread basic information about our
products, as well as share pictures and product videos, and most importantly, we were able to
raise public awareness of the Sizkha Kudapan brand. As a result, setting up a Facebook page is
an effective way to connect our company with our customers through the use of the internet. On
the Sizkha Kudapan Facebook page, we've shared a variety of posts, including teasers, soft-sells
and hard-sells, along with business related to the topic in order to attract attention from the public.

5.0 CONCLUSION
To conclude on our business project, we are totally grateful for being able in completing our task
towards this social media portfolio. Both of us stepped on a new adventure which is being an
entrepreneur. In the beginning, it was quite difficult for us in handling our business and preparing
this social media portfolio. We have been through many difficulties together in doing the social
media portfolio but we managed to complete and at the same time, both of us gained something
new. Implementing the social media portfolio, our mission is to ensure that traditional Malaysian
biscuits and snacks are not forgotten by future generations and our vision is to be one of
Malaysia’s traditional snack suppliers who are famous for cheap prices but provide a very good
quality that satisfies customers. We prioritize customer satisfaction as we want them to be happy
with what they pay for. We make sure that we will maintain our quality throughout the years as
we want to provide our customers the same feeling and same taste of our top quality products.
We also want to make sure that we will always be the first choice of customers when they want
to purchase Malaysia traditional biscuits and snacks.
Our business runs on social media such as Facebook. This is because in this era, people are
more likely to be on social media more so we thought that by promoting our product through
Facebook page is a great idea for growing our business. In addition, studying ENT530 gave us
significant insights on managing an internet business on social media. We also learned about
small business management. when COVID-19, internet trading has grown in popularity, especially
when many prefer to stay home. Online shopping has made launching a small business possible.
Marketing and selling traditional biscuits and snacks on social media can boost sales and build
customer relationships. We benefit from social media because we can engage clients with
Facebook promotions and editorials, attracting their attention. By endorsing things on social
media, we can learn new things. Multiple themes, teasers, hard sell, and soft sell methods are
used in this online business. Our organization can achieve its aims simultaneously. We want to
learn how to run our own business after participating in this initiative. Through this experience, we
hope to master business promotion, online user attractiveness, and customer interaction. As
entrepreneurs, we understand the benefits of online business in the contemporary marketing
landscape. The ENT530 course helps students manage and start a business using social media
and portfolio tactics.
