ATTENTION !
Our brand uses different size charts for

different patterns.
Make sure to check your size for each project.
Also do not rely on the ready to wear
garment size you buy in shops.
How to measure your size:
The best thing you can do is, to get

a friend or a family member to help you.
The measurements should be taken

in the same underwear / undergarments
in which you will wear the garment.
The following 3 measurements we need: Bust, Waist and Hip .

The measurements of the Bust and the Hip should be taken in the most
protruding part of the body. The measurement tape should be taut
but it shouldn’t deform your body. If y nger between
the measurements tape you are good.

In order to pick the right size, you need to compare your
measurements with the measurements from the size guide.
For top garments (dress, blazer, coats, tops..) base your size
decision according to the bust circumference.
For bottom garments (skirts, pants, shorts…) base your size

decision to the hip circumfence.
If your measurement fall between two sizes, you should pick

the size which your measurement comes closest to.
For example if your waist size is 66cm or 25.9” choose XS. .
If you fall exactly into the middle (+/-2) go to higher size
for close ﬁtting garments and to the smaller size for
loose ﬁtting garments.
IMPORTANT! In case you fall into one size according to your

B measurement (for example 36) and a different size according
to your W and H measurements (for example 40), then you’ll
have to adjust the pattern at the waist and hip lines.

-Knitted farbics such as jersey
knit or interlock knit
-Matching threads and scissors
Machines:
- Home sewing machine
- Optional:
- Straight machine
- Overlock
- Collar machine
Attention
We do not recommend fabrics
which are not coarse cotton.

How to prepare the fabric ?
Before we cut the patterns on the fabric, you should try to get
as much shrinkage out as possible (wash it, steam it, iron it or
dry it). Natural materials usually need a lot of steam to shrink
the material. It´s better shrink it now than after cutting.
Also buy 5% more Fabric in case of shrinking!
Also check if the grain lines of your fabric have not been
disorted.

Let us print out the pattern.
There are 3 options on how to
print out the pattern:
A4 or US-Letter Size:
this are tiled versions which you
can print out at home or on your
desktop printer.
A0 Size: you can go to a copy shop

and print it on a big scale. The nice
thing is that it saves you the time
of sticking the pieces together.
Important: Make sure you print

on 100% scale .
Some printers use „ to page“
and reduce the size - in order to
get a correct outcome you need
to avoid that!
Important: Do not open or print

the pattern in Microsoft Word
in order to print the pattern
use softwares f
like “acrobat reader”

How to stick pieces together?
If you use the A4 or US-Letter Version have a look at
the drawings down below.
Stick the sheets together row by row and then attach

the rows. Use the marks to align everything as good
as possible.
Do not forget to add all the notches & pattern

markings to the fabric.

How to put the pattern on fabric?

Lets make the top
TOP
Step 1: Shoulders and collar
1. Sew the shoulders 1 cm
from the edge and use an
overlock stitch to prevent the
fabric from fraying.
2. Form the cylinder that will
be the collar and pin it to the
neckline (it is narrower than the
neckline so you have to match
them by stretching the piece a
bit, make sure that the shoulder
and collar seams are
intercepted).
3. Sew the neckline 1 cm
from the edge and use an
overlock stitch to avoid fraying
the fabric.

Step 2: Sleeves and sides
1. With the body open at the

sides, sew the sleeves 1 cm
from the seam allowance and
use an overlock stitch to
prevent the fabric from fraying.
2. Sew the sides 1 cm from
the edge of the sleeve to the
bottom of the piece and use an
overlock stitch to prevent the
fabric from unraveling.
Step 3: Sleeve cuff
1. We will form the cylinder
that will be the cuff and with
(it is narrower than the sleeve

so we have to make them
coincide stretching the piece a
a little bit, make sure that the
seam matches).
2. Sew the cuffs 1 cm from
the edge and use an
overcasting stitch to avoid
fraying the fabric.
Step 4: Hemming
We make a single hem of 2
cm and with a double needle or
zig zag stitch we sew 2 cm from
the bottom hem.
