Swim Ring
In the pictures, I use WHITE as COLOR A and
YELLOW as COLOR B.
For Watermelon Swim Ring and Orange Swim Ring,
we will work each round in 1 color only. See next
page for the color used in each round. Picture 9 – Front flippers are attached
Insert your hook in the first front loop in Round 19,
with the seal position upside down (Picture 11). Pull
a loop of COLOR A yarn, then make a chain to
attach it. Then start in the same loop as the chain.

In the next rounds, we will crochet with 2 colors:
COLOR A (A) and COLOR B (B).
Change into COLOR B.

(continued on the next page) making the swim ring
Now is the tricky part. We will close the swim ring. Start
stuffing the body firmly. It will be easier to finish the swim
ring with the body stuffed.
Push the last round of the swim ring until it's lining up
with the front loop on Round 21 of the body. Continuing
with COLOR A from the swim ring, insert your hook into
both loops of the swim ring and the front loop of the

body (Picture 13). Pull the yarn through those 3 loops,
swim ring is a bit messy
then make slst. Continue making slst around.
Stuff the swim ring little by little while crocheting. I
stuff it every 7 or 8 stitches. Make sure to stuff the
swim ring evenly. After making the last slst, fasten off,
and weave the yarn tail inside the body.
