Dear Parents,
Greetings from the Mahatma Family.
All the world is a laboratory for the inquiring mind. Nothing teaches you more
than exploring the world and accumulating experiences. Travel makes you
realise, that no matter how much you know, there’s always more to learn.
Travel is rich with learning opportunities, and the ultimate souvenir is a broader
perspective.
With such great implications of travel intertwined with education, Mahatma
Schools wishes to provide an opportunity for its students to participate in an
educational and exciting trip to Singapore between November 21, 2024, and
November 26, 2024. Experienced teachers will accompany the students.
The tentative programme schedule is shared for your reference:
November 21, 2024 (Thur) – In Singapore – Getting accustomed to the new
surroundings
November 22, 2024 (Fri) – Singapore city tour & Sentosa Island
November 23, 2024 (Sat) –
 Science Centre
 Anglo-Chinese theatre workshop exclusively for the students of
Mahatma
 Witness the drama presentation by the Anglo-Chinese students
November 24, 2024 (Sun) - Ice-cream Museum, Garden by the Bay, &
shopping November 25, 2024 (Mon) – Universal Studios
November 26, 2024 (Tue) – Fly back to Madurai
The total roundabout cost for the trip will be Rs. 97,000 (without GST). It
includes the following:

 Visa charges
 International flights
 Overseas airport taxes
 Accommodation, itinerary & meals (breakfast)
 Local transfers
 Entrance fees, wherever applicable
 Drama workshop fee
 Ticket to the drama presentation

If you are interested in your child participating in the trip, we request you to
write and submit a consent letter along with a copy of your child’s passport and
Rs. 10,000 as an advance at the school cash counter or contact Mr Ramesh, the

Note: The tickets to the Drama Presentation by the Anglo-Chinese students are
filling fast. The World Chess Championship will be hosted in Singapore during
November & December 2024; hence booking hotels and tickets to places of
interest will be in demand.
So, we request you to pay the advance and confirm before July 10, 2024.
Registration happens on a first-come, first-served basis!
