Introduction
This document contains the release notes of Nemo Analyze version 8.91, released in December 2022.
The document describes new functionalities and fixed issues.

Nemo Analyze is a powerful and versatile, cutting-edge analysis tool for performing benchmarking,
troubleshooting, and statistical reporting based on drive test data. Nemo Analyze is a desktop tool that
incorporates an innovative, low-maintenance database engine that has been designed and optimized
specifically for high-performance post-processing of drive test data. Nemo Analyze helps you to
streamline your processes by enabling you to automate the entire data processing chain from a drive test
to an open workbook with analysis results.

Nemo Analyze offers a comprehensive set of technology-specific Key Performance Indicators for the
latest wireless technologies and a wide range of data views that are known to offer the best visualization
of drive test data on the market – yet it is highly cost-effective, easy to set up and to use, and it scales to
meet the needs of organizations of all sizes.

Nemo Analyze offers support for all major wireless technologies, including 5G NR (both scanner and UE
measurements), LTE-A CA, NB-IoT, LTE-M, VoLTE/ViLTE, VoWiFi, and mMIMO. Nemo Analyze
supports all the Nemo product line test tools. Measurement data in CSV (Character-Separated Value)
ASCII format is also supported.

Scandinavian characters in BTS underscore) are not handled correctly when used in BTS file

File format compatibility

Nemo file format

Nemo Analyze 8.91 is compatible with Nemo log files up to Nemo file format v2.52 and all older file format
versions.

- Note that Nemo Analyze can also read newer files than the ones mentioned above, however, the
new information elements are discarded.

TEMS file format

Nemo Analyze 8.91 supports files from the following TEMS tools (up to Route Reader 23.3):

- TEMS Automatic 12.x, 11.x, 10.x, 9.2

- TEMS Investigation 23.3, 22.x, 21.x, 20.x, 19.x, 18.x,17.x, 16.x
- TEMS Pocket 23.1, 22.x, 21.x, 20.x, 17.x, 16.x, 15.x, 14.x
- TEMS Symphony 7.x
- TEMS Sense 5.2, 4.x, 3.x, 2.x, 1.x
- TEMS Paragon 5.3, 4.x, 3.2, 3.1, 2.x, 1.x
- TEMS Voyager 2.3.1, 2.x, 1.x

Note that not all metrics and events from TEMS files are supported. Missing metrics and events may be
added in future versions where applicable.

R&S MNT MF (SwissQual) file format

Nemo Analyze 8.91 supports R&S MNT MF files up to version 20.3. Note that some of the older versions
may not be fully supported. Currently supported technologies are 5G NR, LTE, UMTS, and GSM.

Note that not all metrics and events are supported, missing metrics and events may be added in future
versions where applicable.

PCTEL SeeHawk export file format

Nemo Analyze 8.91 supports PCTEL SeeHawk export DTR file format (file extension “.dtr”) up to version
1.0.18.0.

Note that not all KPIs from the PCTEL files are supported. Missing metrics may be added in future
versions where applicable.

Installation

First-time installation
 Installation must be run under Administrator account or other user account with administrative
privileges.
Install Nemo Analyze 8.91 by running the setup. Follow the instructions of the setup wizard. Restart the computer
after installation if required by the setup wizard.

Upgrade from version 7.2.x and newer

 Installation must be run under Administrator account or other user account with administrative
privileges.
1. Uninstall the previous version of Nemo Analyze from Control Panel  Add or Remove programs, NOT by
running the Nemo Analyze 8.91 setup. Restart the computer if required by the setup wizard.
2. Install Nemo Analyze 8.91 by running the setup. Follow the instructions of the setup wizard. Restart the
computer after installation if required by the setup wizard.

Update/upgrade from versions 7.0 or older

 Installation must be run under Administrator account or other user account with administrative
privileges.
 Version 8.91 update can be performed on top of any older version. However, the existing database
may have to be removed if updated from older than version 7.0.
1. Uninstall the previous version of Nemo Analyze from Control Panel  Add or Remove programs, NOT by
running the Nemo Analyze 8.91 setup. Restart the computer if required by the setup wizard.
2. Install Nemo Analyze 8.91 by running the setup. Follow the instructions of the setup wizard. Restart the
computer after installation if required by the setup wizard.
3. The Failed to connect to database error may appear when starting Nemo Analyze for the first time after the
installation. In this case, close Analyze.exe and AnalyzeSocketServer.exe processes from the Windows
Task Manager, and run C:\Nemo Tools\Nemo Analyze Datastore\remove database.bat
