Dealing with Spiritual Gates

Let us talk about gates. First, I want to share with you and discuss the
following text from injesus.com:

Gates are real and they limit, hinder and prohibit men and nations from
entering into their inheritance. But they can be lifted and uprooted.

A gate can mean an opening, a place of entry or exit, a control point, a

place of assembly or a parliament, or in some other cases, it can mean
power or dominion. A gate is a place of public discourse, a place to admin-
ister judgment. In other instances, it can mean a barrier or a secret confed-
eracy or a caucus gathering.

There are three kinds of gates:

1. Security gates or physical gates.

2. Men in authority as gates.
3. Spiritual gates.

1. Security Gates
Security Gates are installed to lock out unwanted intruders.

Joshua 6: 1
Now Jericho was strictly shut up because of the children of Israel. None went
out and none came in.

We are all familiar with security doors but we know that in spite of them, many
homes have been broken into. For example, the Gazites thought a good gate
could hold back Samson, but it did not.

Judges 16: 3
And Samson lay till midnight, and arose at midnight, and took the doors of the
gate of the city, and the two posts, and went away with them, bar and all, and
put them upon his shoulders, and carried them up to the top of a hill that is
before Hebron.
I pray that the Lord will uproot every gate the enemy erected to
shut you out of your breakthrough in Jesus' name. Amen.

Sometimes the physical gates that you install can work against you.

In 2 Kings 6: 24 the Israelites shut the gate of Samaria. When the King of
Syria could not come in, he besieged Samaria.

I pray for you this morning, you will not use your hands to destroy
yourself in Jesus’ name.

Pray this prayer: I refuse to cooperate with my enemies to plot my

downfall in Jesus’ name.

2. Men as Gates
Dan 2: 49
Then Daniel requested of the king, and he set Shadrack, Meshack and
Abednego over the affairs of the province of Babylon: but Daniel sat in
the gate of the king.

Gen 19: 1a
And there came two angels to Sodom at even; and Lot sat in the gate
of Sodom.

The Gate here is talking about a decision making body, those in authority:

Isaiah 14: 31a

Howl, O gate; cry, O city; thou whole Palestia are dissolved;

One of the Abrahamic covenants talks about gates. The word “gate” in
the passage above refers to those in authority; while the word “city” refers
to the people.

Gen 22: 17b

…and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies.

That means your children will be in authority over their enemies.

Gen 24: 60b

…and let thy seed possess the gate of those which hate

I pray for you this morning. You will possess the gates of your
enemies and those that hate you in Jesus' name. That will be
true for your children also in Jesus' name.

The men who sit at the gate can be of blessing to you or be of hindrance
to you.

Psalm 69: 12
They that sit in the gate speak against me…

Why do they do that? David continued in verse 14:

Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink; let me be delivered from
them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.

Amos 5: 12
For I know your manifold transgressions and your mighty sins; they afflict
the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate from
their right.
Do you now know why you have to pray?
Let us pray:
· Father God, please don’t let the men at the gate speak
against me.
· I refuse to be dispossessed at the gate, in Jesus' name.

The divorce rate in America is 50 percent for first marriages, 67 percent
for second marriages, and for third marriages according to the Forest
Institute of Professional Psychology.

Children are also affected by this family curse.

“Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and
thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long: and
there shall be no might in thine hand.” (Deuteronomy 28:32)

“Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt not enjoy them;
for they shall go into captivity.” (Deuteronomy 28:41)

3. Spiritual Gates
This is exactly our major focus area. Many people are not even aware
that spiritual gates exist, and so, they have lost heavily to the enemy.

Hosea 4: 6a
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge….
How can you say there are no spiritual gates when Jesus Himself con-
firmed it?
Matt. 16: 18
And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter and upon this rock I will
build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Gates of hell? The gates of hell refer to the house of assembly of hell, a
place of the gathering of demonic powers. There, they meet to make
decisions to launch their attacks on the Body of Christ and all other
interests of God on earth.

What Jesus was saying indirectly is that the confederacy, assembly, do-
minion or the barrier of hell would not prevail against His church.

These gates are not physical but they are real and effective.

Daniel 10: 12-13
[12] Then said he unto me, Fear not, Daniel; from the first day that thou didst set
thine heart to understand and to chasten thyself before thy God, thy words were
heard and I am come for thy words. [13] but the prince of the kingdom of Persia
withstood me one and twenty days; but lo Michael, one of the chief princes came
to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

Have you seen an angel before? An angel was talking to Daniel about the
warfare that took place, which was invisible to Daniel. Your breakthrough
comes first in the spiritual, then manifests in the physical.

Ephesians 6: 12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities,
against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against
spiritual wickedness in high places.

So what are the effects of their activities on earth?

1 Cor. 16: 8-9 Paul said:

[8] But I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost [9] for a great door and effectu-
al is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.

The enemies want to shut you out from the opportunities God has given
you.

How come all the men that had proposed to marry you are leaving just
before arrangements for marriage are concluded?

How come they always cancel your contracts?

Why are your dreams being aborted constantly? Who is at your gate,
maybe this is the answer you need.

1 Thess. 2: 18
Wherefore we would have come unto you, even I Paul once and again; but
Satan hindered us

Satan will fight you if you are not of his kingdom. The good news is that
the gates of hell will not prevail against the church of God.

Now let us get a bit deeper.

Acts 12: 1-11 was the story of how Peter was saved miraculously by an
angel from Herod.

[5] Peter therefore was kept in prison but prayer was made without
ceasing of the church unto God for him.

Let us read verse 10 carefully

[10] When they were past the first and the second yard, they came unto
the iron gate that leadeth unto the city; which opened to them of his
own accord; and they went out and passed on through one street and
forthwith the angel departed from him.

This morning, the gate of the enemy holding you prisoner will
open, in Jesus' name.

Verse 10 said the gate opened to them of “his” own accord. Why not of
“its” own accord? The Bible does not make mistakes. The gate was a
personality, a principality, and it was male.

Every gate that is not allowing you to enter into your break
through, whether male or female, I decree in the mighty name
of Jesus, loose your hold on your captives.

Psalm 24: 7-10

[7] Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors;
and the king of glory shall come in.
The gates don’t just open up. They want to know in whose name are
you asking?

[8] Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord
mighty in battle. [9] Lift up your heads, o ye gates; even lift them up, ye
everlasting doors; and the king of glory shall come in. [10] Who is this
king of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the king of glory. With those
proclamations, God took control of this place.
I pray for you today, that you will fulfill destiny, your vision will
not die in the mighty name of Jesus.
When you ask spiritual gates to open, they will ask you whether you
have the right to make that request.

Acts 18:13-16
The seven sons of Sceva asked some evil spirits to depart because they
saw Paul do it. And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and
Paul I know; but who are you?
They suffered the consequences. Today, we are going to pray for the
gates to be lifted, but if you are not born again and you pray along with
us, you may get into trouble. So if you are reading this and you are not
born again, kindly put up your hand in prayer.

Pray right now:

1. Lift up your heads, O ye gates and be ye lifted up ye everlasting
doors, so that the king of glory shall come into my life, in Jesus' name.

2. Father God, let everything in my life that will cause pain, reproach,
failure or defeat, frustration, despair and sorrow disappear, in Jesus'
name.

3. Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, come in and take out every-
thing in my life that is contrary to glory, in Jesus' name.

4. Father God, deliver me and set me free from evil judgments

passed against me by Satan and his agents at the gates of hell, in Jesus'
name.

5. Father God, remove all the doors of brass and the bars of iron, both
physical and spiritual that stand between me and my breakthrough in
the mighty name of Jesus.

Reading this message will spell a great disaster in the camp of your en-
emies. It is going to be a chaotic time for your enemies and l want you
to exhibit holy anger in your spirit as you read attentively:

Genesis 22:17
That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed
as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand, which is upon the sea shore;
and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;

Psalm 107:17
Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are
afflicted.

Matthew 16:18
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build
my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

In these three verses of the Bible, you will find “gate” mentioned in
three contexts
“...thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies”
“...for he hath broken the gates of brass”
“...the gate of hell shall not prevail”

Beloved, it is time for Christians to wake up from what l call “Satanic

Slumber”. Unless we storm the camp of the enemy, plunder his gates
and bring him to submission, it will be impossible to enjoy all our bene-
fits. If we do not become spiritually violent, the sons of disobedience
will take over our benefits. If you had

thoroughly read the Bible, you will find out that gates are made for
cities to connote the following: Entrances (1 Kings 17), Houses (Luke
16), Temples (Acts 3), Prisons (Acts 12), Camps (Exodus 32),
Beaches/River banks (Nahum 2), Palaces (Esther 5).

There are many symbols in the Bible and you will find out that the chief
places where important decisions are taken, are the gates of cities.
General proclamations are made at the gates. The council running the
city meets there and conferences are held there too. Sometimes, they
also function as courts of justice. Criminals are punished there along
with the public condemnation of people.

When the enemy wants to attack a city, the area of concentration is at

the gate, that is why experienced officers are placed there. When
people want to sell or buy land, it is at the gates where you will find
them. Also, idolatrous people perform their rites there. At night, how-
ever, the gates are shut.

WHAT IS A GATE?
Spiritually, it is the meeting place of wicked spirits and men. It is an
assembly ground where decisions and deliberations are made, where
information is passed and action is taken. It is a place of satanic assem-
bly, a house of satanic parliament where wickedness and destruction
are planned and where the devil assembles his demons and territories
for wicked purposes.

It also regulates the entrance and exit, into and out of a city. It deter-
mines what time people can or cannot come in.

A gate is the totality of the government and socio-economic life of a

city. In the spirit, it has a very heavy meaning which l had tried to explain
above. I would like you to follow closely and pray the prayer points that
are in this message fervently.

Genesis 28:10-18
And Jacob went out from Beer-sheba, and went toward Haran. [11] And he
lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun
was set; and he

took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down
in that place to sleep. [12] And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on
the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of
God ascending and descending on it. [13] And, behold, the Lord stood
above it, and said, I am the Lord God of Abraham thy father, and the God
of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;
[14] And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread
abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and
in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed. [15]
And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou
goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until
I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.
[16] And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the Lord is in
this place; and I knew it not. [17] And he was afraid, and said, How dreadful
is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of
heaven. [18] And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone
that he had put for his pillows, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil upon
the top of it.

How did this place become the gate of heaven?

Genesis 12:7-8

And the Lord appeared unto Abram, and said, Unto thy seed will I give this
land: and there builded he an altar unto the Lord, who appeared unto him.
[8] And he removed from thence unto a mountain on the east of Bethel,
and pitched his tent, having Bethel on the west, and Hai on the east: and
there he builded an altar unto the Lord, and called upon the name of the
Lord.

This is the same place where many years later, Jacob came and found
that the Lord was there. Abraham had already built an altar there, which
made the place become a gateway to heaven.

Beloved, altars are spiritual gateways that permit spiritual traffic.

In this case, the altar that Abraham built many years ago, made the
place become a gate of heaven which permitted traffic from heaven.

Immediately, when you start erecting an altar to the Lord, you open a
gate into heaven. No wonder, Jacob said, “Surely, the Lord is in this
place, this is none other but the house of God and this is the gate of
heaven.” He said this because there was a traffic of angels who were
going up and down.

If Abraham had built an altar to the devil instead, what Jacob would
have seen would be a different traffic of demons going in and out.

Therefore altars and shrines, which are very common in our environ-
ment, are gates, which can also be used for demons.

If, as a person, an altar has been erected against you, it means that a
demonic traffic controller has been put in place and demons keep
going up and down because of you. The gate of evil will continually
release evil angels and demons into a person’s life because an evil altar
has been erected against that person.

When there is a shrine in your family house, it opens the gate to the en-
emies and they can keep coming, going in and out.

DEMONIC FRUIT SACRIFICES

When you gather bananas, oranges and all kinds of things and take
them to what you call a church, all you have done is to offer sacrifices;
and from that altar you have erected, a gate is opened directly to the
second heavens to the house of demons and they will keep coming and
going in and out. There is traffic.

Psalm 24:7-10
Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and
the King of glory shall come in. [8] Who is this King of glory? The Lord
strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. [9] Lift up your heads, O ye
gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall
come in. [10] Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of
glory. Selah.

In order to complete our redemption, we must take away the key to the
gates of hell from the devil so that those who are there cannot come
out.

Matthew 16:18

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build
my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

This can be interpreted as: “I will build my church and the satanic house
of parliament will not prevail against it.”

I hope the issue of gates is understood. If not, we will not be able to go

into the issue of land, for us to expose how much our land has been
opened up to the enemy.

There are cities in this country where you will find a shrine at the back of
almost every house, these open gates to the traffic of demons. After
dealing with the people in the villages, these demons locate those who
are living in cities abroad.

There is nowhere a person can run to if there are gates in his or her
family. The only safe place is the tower of Jesus.

DISTANCE IS NO BARRIER
I know a man whose family had a shrine. Nothing worked for him, he
tried to go out of the country but was not able to. Eventually, he got a
sailors’ passport and was granted travelling visa. Soon, he got married
and did not get in touch with anybody back home. Suddenly, he had a
dream one night and saw himself trying to escape from a dog, which
eventually bit him and he felt the pain in real life when he woke up. He
narrated the dream to his wife and told her that he knew they had even-
tually got him.

The following day, he received a letter from home and wondered how
they got his address. A few days later, the state police came with a doc-
ument and he confirmed having signed it.

They told him that it was an offence and he was deported. He did not
have time to pick up anything, he only had a pair of jean shorts and
pull-over on at the time he landed in Nigeria. No matter the distance, if
the gates have been opened and they are not shut through prayers,
there will be a demonic traffic going up and down and information will
be passed from one demon to the other and they will carry out their
assignment for satan.

The Bible says: “The habitation of darkness is full of cruelty, wicked-

ness...” There are many wicked things that are being done in the dark,
that is why the Bible says: “It is a shameful thing to talk about what is
being done in darkness, at the gate.”

At these gates, they operate in darkness, complete secrecy and in iso-

lated places: water, rocks, Iroko trees. Many of us would have heard of
roads, houses, cars, in Iroko trees, underground, or under the waters.
No one knows for certain the exact location and time of their meetings.
It is naked only before the eyes of God.

Pray this Prayer: Every evil thing done against me in the night,
be frustrated, in the name of Jesus.

WHAT KIND OF POWERS MEET AT

THE GATES?
Those who meet at the gates are into powerful covenants of destruc-
tion.

Isaiah 28:14-18
Wherefore hear the word of the Lord, ye scornful men, that rule this
people, which is in Jerusalem. [15] Because ye have said, We have made a
covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the over-
flowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have
made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
[16] Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a founda-
tion a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he
that believeth shall not make haste. [17] Judgment also will I lay to the line,
and righteousness to

the plummet: and the hail shall sweep away the refuge of lies, and the
waters shall overflow the hiding place.
[18] And your covenant with death shall be disannulled, and your agree-
ment with hell shall not stand; when the overflowing scourge shall pass
through, then ye shall be trodden down by it.

These powers have satanic confidence. It is believers that fear death,

those who operate at the gate do not fear death at all. This is why they
can board a vehicle and cause it to be involved in an accident. They
make covenants with death, but they have made a vow that they have
to submit the lives of certain people for destruction.

A man wrote me a letter sometime ago. He said he got married as an

unbeliever because his wife refused to become born again and was un-
comfortable with his prayer points. In fact, she would tear up the written
ones, so the man started memorizing them and would pray off hand.
One day, the woman suddenly dropped from the bed and started con-
fessing that she belonged to a cult where she had been asked to
donate her husband. The fact that the man had become undefeatable
means that she would have to die in his stead. She actually died on the
spot.

Can you be donated? I cannot. When the people involved in these cov-
enants become born again, they have to do a lot of prayer warfare to
set themselves free from this collective captivity. These powers at the
gates are very stubborn, they resist everything, they endure even fire.

A preacher was preaching on our television one day about gifts. In his
illustration, he showed that when God pours down blessings, they are
ours.

You may be praying fire prayers, sending fire into the camp of the
enemy; they will endure and resist, thinking you will soon stop. If you
do, they will recover. There was a man who could have entered his
name in the Guinness Book of World Records. He shot and got the lon-
gest snake ever (about 100 feet), but this snake struggled in pain and
cut itself into two at the spot where it was shot. The part bearing the
head escaped.

If you go through the Bible, you will find out that the principles are
there. David chose 5 stones, so that if one missed, the other would hit
the target. But the one he threw did not even miss because he chal-
lenged Goliath in the name of the Lord God of Israel.

WHAT ACTIVITIES ARE CARRIED OUT
AT THOSE DEMONIC GATES?
At the gates, they operate clever satanic network and information is
passed easily from one to another. They spy on people, homes,
businesses, etc.

There is something called “bugging of telephone lines”. Conversations

are monitored through this means, where both the caller and the one
who was called are heard and decisions they have taken are made
known.

The bugging systems include evil marks and incisions. If you have inci-
sions on you and you do not nullify their effect upon your life, they will
continue to supply information about you to the evil world.

Satanic decorations, occultic materials, spiritually contaminated jewel-

ry, objects possessed by evil spirits, snakes and ladder games, whot
cards, satanically inspired home decorations, demonic crosses and
stolen clothes all serve as informants.

At the gates is the habitation of lying. John 8:44 talks about the devil
being the father of all liars. If you build anything on a foundation of lies
or half truths, it will not stand. It not only disturbs God’s guidance for
your life, but also makes you take steps that are not right for you, which
produce greater loss than any gain. If you tell lies, you will need other
lies to maintain the former.

When a lie sees the truth, it flees; there will now be the need for a great-
er lie to be able to re-enter. These powers make people tell lies and en-
courage them at the same time, such lies are recorded against the
person. When you tell lies, you are building on a sandy foundation. You
are heading for hell fire and this also attracts liars into your life and
handiwork. Lying prevents understanding and enjoyment of permanent
good results. It leads to bondage and earns punishment from God. Un-
fortunately, a liar passes it on to his descendants. Whatever profit made
by lying is eventually vomited.

At the gates, demonic anchors and landing spaces are created in the
lives of people. They start when a child is young -- were you greatly em-
barrassed as a child or as an adolescent? Were you involved in a pattern
of sadness at the beginning of your life, which continued building on
each other?

Do you have difficulty recalling anything about your childhood? Is your
childhood totally blank to you? It is these powers at the gates that are
responsible; they don’t want you to remember so that you cannot work
on it. Have you disliked yourself and wished you were someone else or
wished never to have been born? Do you have unreasonable years and
recurring memories of what someone did to you as a child which still
makes you feel troubled when you think about it? Do you overreact to
things? All these are created at a tender age by these powers at the evil
gates.

HOW TO DEAL WITH EVIL GATES

Repentance
This has been watered down today. Any true repentance brings
about godly sorrow. You must repent for allowing the enemy to land
on you, for opening the gates to the enemy. If you are not born
again, do so now.

Ezekiel 8:5-12
Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up thine eyes now the way toward
the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold
northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry. [6] He
said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the
great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should
go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt see
greater abominations. [7] And he brought me to the door of the court; and
when I looked, behold a hole in the wall. [8] Then said he unto me, Son of
man, dig now in the wall: and when I had digged in the wall, behold a door.
[9] And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that
they do here. [10] So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping
things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, por-
trayed upon the wall round about. [11] And there stood before them sev-
enty men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them
stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand;
and a thick cloud of incense went up. [12] Then said he unto me, Son of
man, hast thou seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark,
every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, The Lord seeth us
not; the Lord hath forsaken the earth.

Disband evil gatherings using Isaiah 8:9-10.

Isaiah 8:9-10
Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and
give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in
pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces. [10] Take counsel
together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not
stand: for God is with us.
Declare the gates closed by the blood of Jesus, so that there will no
longer be any traffic against you. Some people wonder why things keep
repeating and renewing their appearance instead of ending. It is be-
cause the traffic is still flowing; you have to close it by the Blood of
Jesus.
Pull down and destroy the gates.
The Bible says: “The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but are
mighty to pull down strongholds.”
Pursue the evil traffic and recover what they have stolen from you.
Forbid a re-establishment in your life.
These are very serious matters. Jesus calls Himself the gate. We read
the gate of heaven in Genesis. We read about the gate of hell in Mat-
thew. We are going to pray
some prayers, which I would like you to take seriously when you address
gates. Some people have been to different root-workers and false
prophets, thereby, opening evil gates into their lives.

Say this prayer with me: Father Lord, I come before you
today, I ask that you come into my life; take control of my life
and be my Lord. I repent of all my sins and forsake them in
the name of Jesus.

WEAPONS FOR DEFENSE

OF SPIRITUAL GATES
1. The Word of God.
Ephesians 6:17
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which
is the word of God.

The Word is listed as the major offensive weapon. Jesus uses the
Word as a weapon.

Revelation 19:15
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should
smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he
treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Jesus used it against the devil.

Matthew 4:4
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread
alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

a. There is a need to read and study the Word.

b. We need to quote the Word against the enemy.

2. Meditation upon God.

Joshua 1:8

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt
meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do ac-
cording to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way
prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

These were some of the instructions that God gave to Joshua

before he was to lead the people into battle in the promise land.
Meditation gives us time to hear from God and make strategic
plans against the enemy.

3. Revelation knowledge.
Daniel 11:32

And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by

flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong,
and do exploits.

First, we must, in a general sense, know God.

 4. The prayer of faith.
James 5:15

And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise
him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
We can take back the ground the enemy has taken through sin by pray-
ing in faith.

Matthew 17:20-21

And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto
you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this
mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and
nothing shall be impossible unto you. Howbeit this kind goeth not out
but by prayer and fasting.

We should enter into spiritual warfare only when we have faith. We are
to speak against the enemy in faith.

5. Praise.
Acts 16:25-26
And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and
the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake,
so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all
the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.

As Paul and Silas praised, the Lord did warfare for them and
opened the doors of the prison.

6. In Name of Jesus.
Mark 16:17-18
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they
cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up
serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they
shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Therefore, we are to be active in using the NAME of Jesus.

7. The Blood of Jesus.
Revelation 12:11
And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of
their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
The Saints overcame the accuser of the brethren through the blood.

8. Submitted life.
Romans 12:1-2
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye pres-
ent your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is
your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye
transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is
that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
In any battle, we must know what the will of God is. However, we must
submit our will to His to receive His will.

9. Obedience.
Deuteronomy 28:1
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice
of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments
which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on
high above all nations of the earth.

Deuteronomy 28:7
The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be
smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and
flee before thee seven ways.

Deuteronomy 28:13
And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou
shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken
unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee
this day, to observe and to do them.

This is just one example of obedience. God promises prosperity,

health, and victory through obedience.

10. A pure conscience.
Having a pure conscience means that no one (man or God) can
truthfully say that we have offended them and have not made an
effort to make it right.
Acts 24:16
And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of
offence toward God, and toward men.

11. Unity.
Psalms 133:1-3
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together
in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down
upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his
garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon
the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing,
even life for evermore.
The anointing and blessings of God come out of unity.

12. The Fullness of the Spirit.

Also, we need prayer support from others.
Ephesians 6:18
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watch-
ing thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And
for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my
mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel.

HOW DO WE CLOSE THE DOORS?

1. Come to acknowledge the presence of the enemy.
a. Acknowledge that you are having a problem.
b. Acknowledge that the enemy is involved.

2. Ask God to show you the open doors.

Psalm 139:23-24
Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my (disquiet-
ing) thoughts. And see if there be any (way of pain) wicked way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.

(1). Sin tendencies.
(2). Health problems.
(3). Financial problems.
(4). Relational difficulties.
d. Mental and Emotional Wounds.
(1). Hurts.
(2). Bruises.

4. Your willingness to deal with the problems.

John 5:6
"When Jesus saw him lie, and he knew that he had now a long time in
that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?

5. You must act in faith.

a. Matthew 21:21-22.

6. Closing doors
The general principle to close the doors is to confront the lie with
the truth of the Word of God.

John 8:31-31
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in
my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth,
and the truth shall make you free.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. O Lord, inject battle aggression into my spirit now.
2. O Lord, empower me to possess the gates of my enemies, in the
name of Jesus.
3. I uproot every evil altar in my life, in the name of Jesus.
4. Let divine thunder scatter every evil meeting held against me at
evil gates, in the name of Jesus.
5. Let the counsel of God for my life be enforced upon the enemy, in
the name of Jesus.
6. Every chain used in holding down my progress, be broken and be
destroyed by fire, in the name of Jesus.
7. Let every word anointed by evil spirits against me fall down to the
ground and die in the name of Jesus.
8. Every agent of spiritual and prosperity paralysis, be dismantled
now, in the name of Jesus.
9. Let life be squeezed out of dream attackers, in the name of Jesus.
10. Every evil cabinet installed against me be disbanded, in the
name of Jesus.
11. O Lord, install your agenda for my life whether the devil likes it
or not, in the name of Jesus.
12. Let every power of household wickedness be confounded and
put to shame in the name of Jesus.
13. Let the counsel of God prosper in my life, in the name of Jesus.
14. I destroy the power of any demonic seed in my life from the
womb, in the name of Jesus.
