Pro Tools Key Commands

Key Description
R Zoom out
T Zoom in
Alt + F Zoom to the selected clip
Alt + A Zoom out to view whole Project
Ctrl + Windows + Alt + Down Arrow Fits all tracks to the window
Windows + Alt + Up / Down Increase / Decrease All track Height
Change the track height of the selected track.
Windows + Up / Down
(Use Shift + P / ; to select multiple tracks using the cursor)
Enable Option > Link Track & Edit Selection
Ctrl + Shift + N New Track (Dialogue Box)
Ctrl + Up / Down Change Track Type (Dialogue Box)
Control + Left / Right Change Track Format. Mono, Stereo etc. (Dialogue Box)
Ctrl + Shift + Up / Down Add / Remove New Track (Dialogue Box)
Up / Down Increase / Decrease number of tracks (Dialogue Box)
D Fade In to cursor
G Fade Out from cursor
F Automatic Fades
Ctrl + F Batch Fade Window
A Trim clip to cursor
S Trim clip from cursor
B or Ctrl + E Cut the clip
Ctrl + H Heal the clip separation
Alt + Shift + 3 Consolidates / Render all the clips in a track to one single clip.
Ctrl + Alt + [ / ] Decrease / Increase Waveform Size
Shift + Alt + Scroll Decrease / Increase Waveform Size
Ctrl + Windows + Alt + [ Reset Waveform Size
Shift + R Record Enable
