Comments:

created this book review rubric as an assessment tool for using book reviews
as a reader’s response method in the classroom. Students enjoy creating and
listening to book reviews by their peers. It is a great way to promote the
LOVE of reading among your students as discussed in the book, Notebook
Know-How Stratgies for the Writer’s Notebook by Aimee Buckner.
My students give a book review once a month on a rotating schedule. I
currently have 24 students and six students present each week, usually on
Fridays. For more ideas and information on how I implement writing
strategies, visit my blog at http://www.fourthgradeflipper.blogspot.com

I used the fonts “a red bucket”, “truer blue”, and “teacher’s pet” in this
document from kevinandamanda fonts.
