ENR PROJECT/PROGRAM/ACTIVITIES (PPAs)
IMPLEMENTATION

The workshop commenced with the customary invocation and the rendition of the

Philippine National Anthem, setting the tone for the proceedings. Following this, OIC-DMO

– IV For. Lelit L Magdaraog extended her warm welcome to all participants, underlining the

significance of the occasion. She emphasized the importance of the Designate Planning

Officer For. Bert D. Empas' presentation of the Work and Financial Plan 2024 and the

Cascading of Targets, crucial for providing clear guidelines to all CENRO Dolores Personnel,

section Chiefs, and focal persons. This, she stressed, would ensure the seamless

implementation of programs and activities, thereby facilitating the timely achievement of set

targets.

Moreover, OIC, CERN Officer Forester Salvacion A. Factor delivered an

inspirational message, underscoring the essence of cascading. She emphasized the necessity

of understanding tasks, deadlines, and utilizing the implementation plan effectively to prevent

any backlog. Additionally, she announced the upcoming 1st Regional Management

Conference scheduled for March 13 – 15, 2024, and the approval of the Special Order

Designating For. Lelit Magdaraog as Acting DMO – IV.


The strategic planning and cascading workshop proceeded with For. Bert D. Empas

presenting the approved Work and Financial Plan (WFP) for ENR Project/Program/Activities

(PPAs) implementation. His presentation outlined various sectors including Natural

Resources Enforcement and Regulatory Program, Forest Protection, Protection and

Conservation of Wildlife, Land Management Sector, Management of Caves and Cave

Resources within Protected Areas, Forest Development, Rehabilitation, Maintenance, and

Protection both inside and outside Protected Areas, as well as General Administration and

Support Services (GASS). He also provided an overview of the Allotment for CY 2024 and

presented the accomplishment report as of February 2024.

According to For. Empas, the total allotment allocated to CENRO Dolores for C.Y.

2024 amounts to 46,185,120.00.

In the afternoon session, For. Empas delved into the Unit of Work Measurements,

aiming to provide a comprehensive understanding of the content per activity and its

associated metrics, further enhancing clarity and effectiveness in project execution.
