1.(a) Explain the necessity of earthing. With a neat diagram, explain pipe earthing 10 L2 CO1
An electric installation consists of the following
loads3 lamps 50 W each working for 8 hrs/day
6 ceiling fans 100 W each working for 12 hrs/day
1.(b) 2 electric geysers 1000 W each working for 1 hr/day 06 L3 CO2
2 Electric room heaters of 1500 W each working for 2 hrs/day
Calculate the monthly electricity bill for a month with 31 days when energy
issupplied at Rs. 4/ unit.
There are two protective devices available as follows:
i) Fuse
ii) Miniature circuit breaker 04 L4 CO3
