SCENE 3
[A room that looks like a tower, with open light coming through with a view of a
desolate area that has a view of a pond and trees. Has tan colored walls and a
grey colored flooring. Walls are made up of pillar-like walls with open air
windows. On the floor there is a red-ish pink bed]
Romeo:
[Running in, panting sees Juliet laying on the floor. As the camera shows them
both in frame, Juliet laying, taking up most of the frame with the flower in her
hand.]
Oh, my dear Juliet! Who would have dare guessed you would’ve passed so
soon!
[Collapses on the ground next to Juliet and starts to weep]
[New camera angle, Downward angle of Romeo.]
Thou’s life is no more, I beg of thee, don't leave me. My death brings me life to
be with you again.
[Grabs purple vile from pocket.]
O true apothecary, thy drugs are quick
[Drinks the vile full of purple liquid]
[Collapses to the ground, dead.]
Friar Lawrence:
[new camera shot, like the one in the beginning facing the stairs, and you hear
Friar Lawrence slightly humming an unknown tune]
[Walks in happy, still humming a song]
[Looks down to see Romeo dead]
[Awestruck, he stops humming and, walks backwards down the stairs]
[Dramatic pause]
Juliet
[Slightly stirs in her sleep and then after a second, wakes up]
Where is my Romeo?
[Looks down and gasps]
Oh, my dear Romeo!
[looks down to see the empty vile and picks it up. Close up of Juliet taking it out
of his hand]
Poison I see, hath has been his timeless end.
[New frame of Juliet sitting on her knees]
[shakes head]
You're a mouse poisoned with stupidity.
[New shot behind Juliet with Romeo in frame as well]
[picks up hand and starts to weep]
Huh?
[feels a strong pulse from his wrist, shocked and mad]
[Slaps him with the back of her hand]
Romeo:
[gasps in pain and bolts up]
What was that for?
[looks around clueless]
Juliet:
[Camera angle is a shoulder angle behind Romeo.]
You degenerate beef-witted ox-head! You're not dead!
[Camera angle changes to behind Juliets shoulder]
How dareth pretendeth to beest dead.
Fie I'm leaving, I don't want to see thy visage.
[Juliet storms out down the stairs]
Romeo:
[Romeo looks to Juliet, gets on his knees, and begins to weep looking around
and putting his face in his hands]
She left me.
