    ANNEX A.

    POST RCCE Accomplishment Report

    Activity: MPOX INFORMATION AND EDUCATION CAMPAIGN

    Date: SEPTEMBER 06, 2024


    Venue: DAY CARE CENTER, BRGY. N SERING, SOCORRO, SDN

    Objectives:
    ● To provide information about MPOX disease, signs and symptoms
    and prevention.
    ● To inculcate communities and other gender based organizations
    on how the disease will spread across all gender.
    ● To educate the public on how important to have public awareness
    especially to different types of diseases.

    Accomplishments/Highlights:
    In accordance to the mandate from the Department of Health to
    increase public awareness on MPOX disease to our respective areas of
    assignment, we the HRH personnel of RHU Socorro adhere to the
    aforesaid mandate. On September 6, 2024 was the agreed schedule in
    conducting Information Dissemination for MPOX awareness in coordination
    with the DSWD Municipal Link Officer for 4Ps recipients in Barangay Sering
    Proper, in the municipality of Socorro. The said lecture focused on the
    origin of the disease, signs and symptoms as well as early detection,
    mode of transmission, clinical management and best ways of prevention.
    The lecture was done in Bisaya or in native dialect so that it will be better
    understood by the community. After the lecture, an open forum was also
    conducted to expound more the awareness of the MPOX disease and to
    help them spread the information to their families and extended relatives.
    Many questions and concerns regarding the disease were raised and were
    thoroughly answered respectively. Many counter measures were
    presented against the aforesaid disease so that their relatives and their
    community can either stop the spread of the disease or prevent the entry
    of the disease in their place. It was then approved unanimously by the
    mothers the need to disseminate the information regarding MPOX disease
    to their loved ones thus, distribution of MPOX leaflets and another round
    of IEC were then planned.
