lEMCEE SCRIPT FOR SENIOR CITIZENS
DAY
BEFORE THE PROGRAM STARTS:

In a matter of few minutes, we are about to start our
program. In the meantime, if you could kindly take your seats
that would be wonderful. I am Mrs. Aurelia Ayunon or known to
everyone as “Mamyang”, your emcee for today’s affair. I will be
getting back with you in a few minutes.
START OF THE PROGRAM:

May I ask everyone to please settle down so we could
formally begin our program.
Today is an auspicious day for everyone, especially the
elderly. Yes, the elderly who hold a significant place in our
communities. We are considered a diverse group with a wealth
of knowledge, experience, and cultural heritage that enrich
society in countless ways. Furthermore, the elderly often serve
as a stabilizing force within families, providing emotional
support. Our involvement in community organizations helps to
ensure that the needs and interest of all age groups are
represented.
SINGING OF THE NATIONAL ANTHEM:

And now, as we celebrate the Senior Citizens Day, to
commemorate the importance of the elderly, may I request
everyone to stand for the singing of the national anthem to be
conducted by ___________________________________.

Municipal Mayor, ladies and gentlemen Honorable Darrel O.

Our affair today would not be so blissful without hearing
words of wisdom coming from a very esteemed lady, friends let
us welcome on stage Sanggunian Bayan Member Anastacia
Bejarin, ma’am. A big round of applause please.

And now, we move on to the much-awaited moment! Let

Senior Citizens in every barangay of our municipality.
