Description
1) SANITARY WORKS
All Fixtures, Equipments, pipes & fittings shall subject to
approval based on SAMPLES, CATALOGUES & BROCHURES
and/or Brochures presented by the contractor. All materials
shall conform with relevant clauses of Local & International
Standards.

A) INTERNAL SANITARY WORKS


1) SANITARY WARES/EQUIPMENTS

1.1) Supply, fix, test and commission Hand wash basin with
pedestal stand made of white vitreous china, ACQUA or
equivalent, including chrome plated faucet, plug, chain,
bottle-trap, and all required accessories of approved
standards & best quality.

1.2) Supply, fix, test and commission low flush Water


closet , made of white glazed vitreous china, ACQUA or
equivalent, including low flush cistern complete with
universal mechanism & float ball valve, plastic seat &
cover, heavy duty flexible pipe and all required accessories
of approved standards & best quality.

1.3) Supply, fix, test and commission Bath tub unit made
of Enamelled cast iron, with slip resistant base including
chrome plated mixinng faucet together with telephone type
shower head, Smell- trap with proper water seal and all
reqired accessories there to.
1.4) Supply, fix, test and commission Shower unit made of
Enamelled cast iron plate with slip resistant base including
chrome plated shower head, mixing valves, Smell- trap with
proper water seal and all reqired accessories.

1.5) Supply and install Kitchen sink in stainless steel,


single bowl with chrome plated mixing faucet, chain, plug,
trap and complete with all required accessories.

1.6) Supply, fix, test and commission Electrical water


heater Complete with all water proofing, mounting and
fastening materials, heat insulation, safety and non-return
valve, & all accessories; all of approved standards &
quality.

1.7) Supply, fix, test and commission Soap holder made of


white vitreous china for shower and bath tub units
complete with its all acsessories, best quality and approved
standards.

1.8) Supply, fix, test and commission Towel hanger,


600mm long, made of chrome plated tubular metal rollers
including fastening screws.

1.9) Supply, fix, test and commission Toilet paper holder


made of white vitreous china complete with chrome plated
metal roller & fastening screws; all of best quality and
approved standards.

2) WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM


2.1) Supply, install, disinfect, test and commission potable
water supply PP-R Pipes,aproved standards & qualities,
for cold & Hot water distribution to all sanitary fixtures or
equipments as where shown on the drawings. Complete
with connecting fittings such as bends, unions, tees,
reducers, supporting clamps, anchors, painting as where
required,... etc.

2.2) Providing and fixing on terrace (at all floor levels)


Polyethylene storage tank of approved brand and
manufacture with cover and mosquito proof coupling and
suitable locking arrangement and making nescessary
connections for inlet, outlet and overflow pipes but without
the cost for base support.(2000lit)

3) WASTE, VENT & STORM WATER PIPES:

3.1) Supply, install, test and commission soil & waste


water drainage pipes in horizontal branches and vertical
stacks made of uPVC Pipes of approved standard & quality
including all necessary fittings such as elbow. Y,Tee ...etc.
with tight joints. All horizontall branches shall be laid in a
slope of 2% at normal conditions. (Ø50mm)

3.2) Supply, install, test and commission Floor drain


with P-Trap or sufficient water seal, according to where
located on the drawings complete with smell trap and other
necessary accessories there to, all of approved standards
& quality.

3.3) Supply, install, test and commission Chain Down


Pipes made of PVC ,rust proof Chain of approved standard
& quality, anchored to the Gutter out let and the Recipient
Unite properly. (Ø75mm)

B) SITE SANITARY WORKS


1) WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM:
1.1) Supply, install, disinfect, test and commission potable
water supply Coated PP-R Pipes, PN 20, of approved
standards & qualities, for Domestic water supply that goes
horizontally on site as where shown on the drawings.
Complete with connecting fittings such as bends, unions,
tees, supporting clamps, anchors, painting as where
required,... etc. The scope of works includes all incidential
civil works, such as excavation of trenches, provision of
10cm thick sand beddings arround the pipe, back fill and
cart away the surpless. All as specified in the techinical
specification of the material and the manufacturer's
instructions & recommendation.
(Ø25mm)

1.2) Supply, fix, test and commission PP-R Gate valves,


PN20, of Europian Standards & quality, as where shown on
the drawings. Complete with all required fittings and
accesseries there to.

1.3) Supply, fix, test and commission PP-R Check valves,


PN20, of Europian Standards & quality, as where shown on
the drawings. Complete with all required fittings and
accesseries there to.

1.4) Supply, fix, test and commission Europian


manufactured water meter as per AAWSSA standards of
approved quality complete with gate valve, check valve,
union, and connecting fittings.Unit price shall include all
assistance works there to .

2) SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM


2.1) Supply, lay, test and commission UPVC- pipes of
BS4660 or equivalent standard for sewer lines conveying
soil & waste water to septic tank as where shown on the
drawing, complete with all the necessary fittings and
accessories with tight joints.
(Ø75mm)

3) STORM WATER DRAINAGE


3.1) Construct Storm runoff drainage ditches out of Half
Ø30cm precast concrete pipe, on a base of 100mm thick red
ash bedding and framed with 40cm stone masonry wall.
Grill cover is required at all crossings of circullation areas;
as where shown on the drawings.

4) SEPTIC TANK & SANITARY APPURTENANCES


4.1) Construct rectangular manholes out of Ø60cm precast
concrete pipe, on a base of 100mm thick mass concrete
bedding, with 50cm depth and covered with 80mm thick
RC-slab with steel bar handle; as shown on the drawings.

4.2) Construct 18.75m³ Capacity septic tank as per the


drawings provided.
