28-09-2019 marriage date (the newly wedded couple

had decided to live in a rented house
because the father and mother of the
respondent had not accepted their inter
caste marriage.)

It is pertinent to mention that the petitioner

has already told the respondent that she will
never change her religion whatsoever to
which the respondent also agreed to this
decision and they got married.

April 2020 She got pregnant (reason is that the

respondent has forced the petitioner to get
pregnant so that the father and mother of
the respondent accept their marriage.)

July 2020 The petitioner stated that the respondent

used to argue a lot on a daily basis
regarding the religion and also continued to
force her to go to his parents house. (it is
pertinent to mention here that the in-laws of
the petitioner were very abusive toward the
petitioners from the day one after their
marriage was consummated.)

August 2020 The petitioner states that on that time she

was 5 months pregnant the respondent
again used to force her to go to their
matrimonial home but the petitioner was so
afraid with the behaviour of the in-laws so
she refused to go to the matrimonial house.
to which a very shocking and unacceptable
incident happened that the respondent
slapped her multiple times and threatened
her that if the petitioner did not accept to go
to the matrimonial house then the
respondent would commit suiside.

September 2020 The petitioner states that after such an

incident and threatened the petitioner got
scared and agreed to go with the
respondent to their matrimonial house.

It is pertinent to mention herein that she

was 6 months pregnant when the
respondent and the in-laws were forced to
convert her religion and give her condition
that if she does not convert her religion then
won’t accept her as their daughter in law.
Meanwhile, the in-laws forced her to cut off
her relationship with her parents completely.

Meanwhile the petitioner decided to go to

her parents house and asked them to get
her from her in-laws house.

October- November 2020 The petitioner states that after not being
able to resist such a difficult situation, the
petitioner decided to leave her matrimonial
home and decide to live in her father's
home, at that time she was 8 months
pregnant.

December 2020 the petitoner states that the respondent

contact her again thretenth her that if she
not return to her matrimonial house then he
will commit suicide.

Seeing such a situation the petitioner

decided to go to her matrimonial home.
After a few days the in-laws again used to
abuse her with bad slang words.

Being not able to handle this situation the

petitioner and the respondent had decided
to leave the matrimonial house at night and
went to a hotel and then they stay in the
respondent friend's house for 2 days and
later on stayed in a rented house on that
time the petitioner was 9 months pregnant.

22 December, 2020 The petitioner states that she was admitted

to hospital and went through c- section and
one child borned.

It is pertinent to mention here that all

medical expenses before and after the
petitioner delivery had been borne by the
father of the petitioner.

It is also come to the notice of the petitioner

that despite knowing that she is not
converted or had not changed her name,
the respondent allegedly changed the
petitioner name on the hospital name stated
“Mithu Begam”.

the petitioner state that after discharge from

the hospital they decided to go back to the
rent house

28 December, 2020 The petitioner states that the respondent did

not inform her and take the child to her
matrimonial house.

31 December, 2020 The petitioner stated that at midnight the

respondent had forced her to take their
child to their matrimonial house. and
threatened that if she did not do this then he
would forcefully take the child away from
her. and later on the respondent had broken
the sim card of the petitioner so that she
wasn't able to contact her parents.

Since the petitioner went through with the

C- section she was not able to move and at
that time the baby was of only 7 days.

1st January, 2021 The petitioner stated that being not able to
contact her parents, the parents somehow
reached the rented house where they were
living with the child. and then the father
decided to take the baby and the petitioner
with them to secure their safety.

in the ending of the January the respondent

again used the tactic of threathing the
petitioner saying he will comit suicide.

The petitioner was so frightened that she

decided to give him one last chance for the
sake of the child and the respondent, she
decided to take him to her matrimonial
house.

2nd February, 2021 The petitioner states that the in-laws were
again abusing her and now claiming that the
child will be considered as a legitimate until
and unless her conversion is not done. The
child will be considered legitimate if he
converts her into islam.

17 February, 2021 Finally the respondent had decided to leave

her matrimonial house and will stay with her
parent house.

after 17, feb 2021 they were separated till

now.

It is als pertinent to mention here in that

throughout the separation the respondent
had not tried to contact or try to maintain
her wife and child in any ways. all medical
expenses and care were done by the father
of the petitioner.
