Instructions for Institute Level Counseling:-
1. The registration fee of Rs. 1000/- for General Category including EWS & TFW
category Rs. 700/- for All Reserved Categories of Haryana (SC/
SCD/BC/PH/FF/ESM/Girls) for B. Tech./B.Arch. and B.Tech. (LEET) programmes
including RoM(Residents of Murthal) shall be deposited by the candidate online
through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI by using online payment gateway
during filling the online application form available on the university website. The
Online Registration Fee once paid by the candidate shall not be refunded (full or
partial) under any circumstances. There is no involvement from the university in the
service fees charged by the bank when paying registration fees with a debit or credit
card or through any other payment channel.
2. Only those candidates who have filled their online applications on university website
and paid the requisite fee shall be allowed to participate in the institute level
counseling.
3. The application of the candidate will be considered as incomplete and will be
rejected, if registration fee is not paid.
4. Students are directed to visit University website from time to time to get the latest
updates regarding vacant seats position and other instructions.
5. The candidate must read HSTES Admission Brochure 2024-25 carefully for eligibility
conditions.
6. Thecandidates are required to pay the university admission fee of Rs. 50325/- (For
TFW Rs. 42325/- and for SC candidates with income below Rs. 2.5 lakh Rs. 3,000/-)
online after verification of the documents at the time of reporting. The payment
shall be made through online mode (Debit/Credits Cards/Net Banking/UPI).
7. After submission of admission fees, the candidate must report to the online
admission committee for final admission and collect their provisional admission slip
from the online admission committee before leaving the admission spot.
8. The candidate who had not deposited his/her counseling fees earlier to the HSTES,
needs to pay the HSTES counseling fees in the account of the University and the
counseling fee collected by the University will be transferred to the HSTES account
after the last date of admission.
9. As per the AICTE guidelines the last date for fee refund will be 11.09.2024 upto
05:00 pm. Therefore, in case of cancellation of admission the candidates are advised
to submit their fee refund request on or before 11.09.2024. No fee refund request
will be entertained by the university after 11.09.2024.
10. The candidates without JEE main Rank will be considered for admission in the
B.Tech programs at the time of institute level spot round counseling, only after
exhausting the merit list of JEE Main candidates. Further, for admission to B.Tech
(Bio-Technology/Biomedical), the candidates passed in 10+2 examination with
Biology as one of the subject along with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory
subjects will be considered.

The following documents are to be verified with original and submitted (one set of
photocopy) by the Candidate at the time of reporting:

1. Seat Allotment Letter

2. Proof of submission of counseling fees to HSTES
3. Admit Card Rank Card of JEE (Main)/NATA/LEET
4. 12th Marksheet or Diploma Certificate
5. 10th Marksheet
6. Character Certificate
(i) Regular Students are required to submit the character certificate as per
Annexure-I
(ii) Private Candidates: Who has passed their 12th class examination as private
candidate should submit their character certificate duly signed by a First-Class
magistrate.
7. Haryana Residence Certificate is required to be submit by those candidates who
have not passed their qualifying exam (10+2) from Haryana as per Annexure-II
8. PPP (Parivar Pechan Patra for candidates who belongs to Haryana).

Following Documents to be verified from Parivar Pechan Patra: -

9. Divvying Certificate as per Annexure-III should be verified from PPP database

10. Schedule caste Certificate (SC) should be verified from PPP database.
11. Deprived Schedule caste Certificate (SC-D) should be verified from PPP database.
12. Backward Class certificate (BC-A, BC-B) should be verified from PPP database.
The parents of BC candidates (Block A&B) for benefit of reservation for their ward
shall have to verify their annual family income verified from their PPPID during
applying online to the effect that they does not fall under the creamy layer at the
time of admission as per notification No. 40/13/2024-1SW dated 16 July, 2024 or as
per their BC Category Certificate issued after 16 July, 2024.
13. Income Certificate of backward Class should be verified from PPP database.
14. Annual Parental Income from all sources (in case of TFW quota candidates) should
be verified from PPP database.
15. Income & Asset Certificate (EWS) as per Annexure-XI and income (below Rs. 6 lakh)
should be verified from PPP database.
NOTE: For all the reserved category, annual income & other details of the candidates
from Haryana is to be verified from their PPP-ID for the purpose of admission, at the time
of institute level counseling as per "Parivar Pehchan Patra Act-2021". All specific
categories other than not available at PPP-ID portal (like KM, EWS) may be verified
physically as per instructions given in Admission Brochure for B.Tech. 2024-25.
