delegating the volunteering tasks assigned to us by NAB, along with being a volunteer myself.

SUMMARY
After my initial exposure to CFA Level 1 training, my keen interest in the subject developed into an obsession. The
complexity of topics like put-call parity initially presented a challenge, with my grasp limited to less than 10 percent
during the first encounter. Undeterred, I enrolled in CFA Level 1 and a dedicated preparation course, eagerly tackling
practice work on weekdays after returning from college. The rigorous four-hour CFA lectures on weekends proved more
engaging than a one-hour “philosophy of mind” class, prompting a realization that my passion lies in studying finance,
steering me away from pursuing philosophy any further.
My interest in finance motivates me to pursue a Major in Management and Economics. I aspire to become a financial
planner and manage assets by forming a portfolio. While studying for CFA, I studied how economic factors can be used to
predict upcoming events and make a decision accordingly. I want to study economics because it helps form connections
between Finance and the real world.
I have held several roles during my undergraduate degree which required me to manage a team and resources. I learned
that gaining the subject expertise alone is not enough for the success of any project. It also highly depends on cooperation
with interactive factors. I believe studying management would help me understand this concept at a professional level, and
provide me with the required skills to work as a team member and take over as a leader when the time comes.
The CFA Charter is a highly prestigious badge in the finance field as it requires high analytical and financial skills,
integrity, and loyalty toward clients, employers, and the institution. I intend to clear all the levels and requirements to
obtain the CFA Charter. I believe that a Master in Management and Economics from the University of Zurich would be a
perfect pair to help me penetrate the market with managerial as well as industry skills. The University of Zurich is one of
the most prestigious schools, and it would be my honour to get the opportunity to study there.
