3-B -1&2 Fine aggregate (chemical properties):-
comment:- 1.Why petrographic analysis(for both coarse & fine aggregate) and Alkali aggregate reactivity test is required ? What is the controlling factors of these tests, and how it effects the construction of such a nature and what is the impact of this tests results. 2. regarding gradation of fine aggregate for plaster, the codal provision is not IS 383, it is IS 1542- 1992. include it. 3.As it is understood that, RMC will be supplied by contractor or any other agency approved by client, so how these all parameters related to cement, course aggregate and fine aggregate will be monitored, there is no guidelines mentioned in QAP. 4. same is applicable to point no 6& 7 for all necessary testing parameters for concrete admixtures. 5. is there any recommendation to ujse curing compond, if any provide this document. 6. How block adhesive materials will be monitored , not there in QAP. 7. what types of cover block is recommended moulded by cement or fibre made /plastic, what are the sizes ? 8. Application rust removal chemical application is not there. 9. There is no mentioned of chemical used for various repairing items as per BOQ. For an example,- pu soaking in down slab. The make of every such chemical must be there in QAP. 10. How to monitor the RMC and what should be the process of accepting their concrete strength? Is there any system of Audit to their plant to check all the data/documents as per IS 4926. 11. What is the pump wash process, by water or air compressor, what should be the guideline to the concrete remaining in pipe line after wash?
