Students will be able to

1. Apply matrix algebra, the matrix transpose, and the zero and identity matrices, to solve and
analyze matrix equations.
2. Describe the fundamental counting principle and determine the number of possible
combinations for a given situation using the fundamental counting principle.
3. Demonstrate how to add and subtract vector quantities in 1, 2 and 3 dimension.
4. Discuss two- and three-dimensional geometric shapes and develop mathematical arguments
about geometric relationships
