NOTIFICATION

Subject: ISSUANCE OF ROLL NO. SLIPS/EXAM PASSES FOR FINAL TERM


EXAMINATIONS – FALL SEMESTER 2024
In accordance with the directives of the Competent Authority and as
outlined in the Minutes of Meeting issued vide No. 1479/DOA dated 11/12/2024,
Annexure-B), the following policy is being implemented:
“NO STUDENT WITH OUTSTANDING FEE DUES SHALL BE
ALLOWED TO SIT FOR THE FINAL TERM EXAMINATIONS OF
FALL SEMESTER 2024.”
2. To ensure smooth compliance, all Chairpersons, Heads, Principals,
and Directors of Teaching Departments, Constituent Colleges, and Campuses
are requested to adhere to the following instructions:
i. Enrollment Deadline: Complete enrollment for Fall Semester 2024 by
02.01.2025.
ii. Access Exam Slips: Roll No. Slips/Exam Passes are available on the
Chairperson's MYIUB portal.
iii. Generation of Slips: Once enrollment is finalized, Chairpersons/Heads
must generate Roll No. Slips/Exam Passes via
their MyIUB login.
iv. Printing and Signing: Chairpersons are to print, sign, and stamp the
slips alongside a validated list of eligible
candidates. Detailed instructions to issue the Roll
No. Slip/Exam Pass are given in Annexure-A. The
final deadline to issue Roll No. Slip/Exam
Passes is 06.01.2025.
v. Distribution: Departmental clerks will distribute signed slips to
students and maintain a record on the system-
generated list of enrolled students.
vi. Fee Clearance Status:
a. Students with “All fee dues are cleared” status will be
permitted to sit for the examinations.
b. Students with “Fee Defaulter” status will not be allowed to
appear unless clearance is obtained.

vii. Fee Defaulters:


a. Students with an "Unpaid" status on their Roll No. Slip/Exam
Pass, who have already cleared their dues, must submit the
paid challan to the relevant department. The Chairperson or
their authorized representative will verify the challan, sign and
stamp the Roll No. Slip/Exam Pass, and grant the student
permission to sit for the exams.
b. Students with unpaid/pending dues must clear the dues,
including any applicable fines, before the final term
examinations. The Treasurer's Office will verify and stamp the
Roll Number Slip upon dues clearance.
viii. Re-Examination: Students who clear their dues during or after the
examination will be eligible to take a special
exam within seven days following the completion
of the regular exams. A re-examination fee will
be charged as per university policy.
ix. Part-time/visiting Teacher fee Adjustment: Pending dues of
PhD/MPhil students who are part-time/visiting
teachers will be adjusted against their teaching
remuneration.
3. All Chairpersons, Heads, Principals, and Directors are expected to
implement these directives fully and ensure compliance in letter and spirit.
4. This notice is issued with the approval of the Competent Authority.
