Do not join rounds, work in a continuous spiral
You can use the same pattern to make larger or smaller toys by using finer or
bulkier yarn. Pick a crochet hook at least a size smaller than suggested on the
yarn label and crochet tightly enough to achieve a tight gauge that will not
allow the stuffing to show through the fabric
All stitches are worked into both loops, unless stated otherwise in the pattern
Use a stitch marker or a piece of yarn to mark the end or the beginning of a
round
Make sure, you crochet tight all the way, to get no huge stretching holes
between the stitches after you filled in the cotton wool
Stuff is very well
Abbreviations:
ch - chain stitch
sc - single crochet (US)
sl st - slip stitch
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet (US)
tr – double treble crochet
dec - sc next 2 stitches together (single crochet decrease)
inc - sc in indicated stitch 2 times (single crochet increase)
flo - work in front loop only
blo - work in back loop only
FPsc – front post single crochet
bo – bobble stitch (crochet 3double crochet stitches together in the same stitch)
tog - together
rnd - round (crochet in a circle)
row – round (not circular)
sc3inc - sc in indicated stitch 3 times
sc3tog – sc next 3 stitches together at a time
