2. President Nelson taught that “every woman is a mother by virtue of her eternal divine
destiny” (“Sisters’ Participation in the Gathering of Israel,” Ensign or Liahona, Nov.

Answers:
1. How does the role of motherhood apply to all women? Motherhood isn’t just about
having children. It’s about nurturing, loving, and guiding others, whether they are children,
family members, friends, or members of the community. All women can reflect God’s love by
caring for others, offering kindness, and building others up spiritually and emotionally.
3. How Does Heavenly Father Help Women Nurture? Heavenly Father provides guidance
through the Spirit, comfort in challenging times, and strength to fulfill this sacred role. He also
sends blessings such as patience, wisdom, and inspiration to help women nurture others
physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
4. Examples of the Savior Nurturing Others: Jesus nurtured others in many ways. He fed the
hungry, healed the sick, and spent time teaching and comforting those who were burdened.
One powerful example is when He gently invited children to come to Him and blessed them
(Matthew 19:13-15).
5. Being the Recipient of Christlike Nurturing: I remember a time when a woman in my ward
noticed I was struggling with a personal challenge. She reached out, listened, and provided
gentle encouragement. Her Christlike care helped me feel valued and uplifted. I can develop
this attribute by paying attention to others’ needs, listening more, and serving without expecting
anything in return.
6. The Difference Mothers Make in God’s Plan: Mothers play a vital role in shaping lives,
teaching gospel principles, and helping others feel God’s love. Their influence can last for
generations, helping to create strong families and faithful individuals who contribute to God’s
work.
1. Patterning Efforts After Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ: Fathers can follow Heavenly
Father’s example by showing unconditional love, providing guidance, and being patient and
forgiving. Like Jesus, they can serve their families with humility, teach truth, and be a source of
protection and support.
2. The Savior as the Good Shepherd (John 10:11–15): In this passage, the Savior describes
how a good shepherd knows, protects, and sacrifices for His sheep. A righteous father mirrors
this by prioritizing his family, protecting them from harm, and guiding them with love and care.
6. Divine Revelation and Priesthood Power: Through prayer and priesthood blessings,
fathers can receive guidance to protect and lead their families. Priesthood power allows them
to act in God’s name to bless their children and home, ensuring they are spiritually and
physically safe. Fathers who seek revelation can make inspired decisions that align with God’s
will for their family.
