The Role: As Editor, you'll be the driving force behind our content strategy, ensuring all published pieces are insightful, engaging, and of exceptional quality. You'll manage the editorial team, curate content across platforms, and lead the way in shaping the future of Life N Style.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive editorial calendar aligned with the magazine's vision. • Oversee the creation of high-caliber content across digital and print platforms, including articles, features, interviews, and reviews. • Manage writers, photographers, and designers, ensuring timely and accurate content delivery. • Edit and proofread all content for accuracy, style, and tone. • Conduct and oversee interviews with high-profile personalities. • Collaborate with marketing and advertising teams on content aligned with promotional campaigns. • Stay ahead of the curve by identifying emerging trends and topics within the luxury sector. • Attend and cover relevant events, providing exclusive content and firsthand insights. • Manage the editorial budget while prioritizing cost-effective content production.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as an Editor in the luxury lifestyle sector (highly preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field. • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. • Strong understanding of digital media and SEO best practices. • Proven ability to conduct impactful interviews with high-profile personalities. • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. • Excellent networking skills and ability to build relationships with industry professionals. • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality. • Adaptability and ability to manage tight deadlines.
