RE: INVITATION TO THE KETSA 4TH ANNUAL LEADERS’ SUMMIT 2025.

KETSA has organized its 4th Annual Leaders’ Summit, scheduled to take place on 24th – 28th
February, 2025 at Lake Bogoria Spa Resort, Marigat in Baringo County.

Summit Overview
The cooperative sector plays a crucial role in fostering economic empowerment and social
transformation. However, in an increasingly dynamic and uncertain environment, effective risk
management has become critical to ensuring the sustainability and vibrancy of SACCOs.

This year’s Annual Leaders’ Summit, themed “Risk Management for a Vibrant Cooperative
Movement,” aims to bring together SACCO leaders to deliberate on critical risk management
strategies that align with the goals of cooperative growth, financial inclusion and sustainability.

We therefore invite SACCO leaders and stakeholders to participate in this summit and contribute
to building a vibrant and resilient cooperative movement. Together, we can address the challenges
of risk management and unlock new opportunities for sustainable growth.

The key objectives of the summit are:
▪ To empower SACCO leaders with the latest insights, strategies and tools for managing
operational, financial and reputational risks.
▪ To create a platform for SACCO leaders to share experiences, challenges and best
practices in risk management.
▪ To build networks and partnerships among SACCOs and stakeholders for collective
growth and sustainability.

Key highlights of the Summit will include:


▪ Panel discussions with industry experts.
▪ Sessions on practical risk management tools and techniques.
▪ Networking opportunities to connect with other leaders in the cooperative sector.

Conference dates: 25th, 26th and 27th February, 2025
Venue Lake Bogoria Spa Resort, Marigat-Baringo County
Investment Ksh. 65, 000 per person (Day Conference)

Ksh. 110, 000 per person (Full board).

Discounted rate of Ksh. 5,000 for early bird ticket for those who confirm
& pay on or before 31st January, 2025.

NB: All costs are exclusive of Vat and transport.
