Week 18 - Instructions - Task - Final Asignment II
Hello everybody!
Now it's time for you to do the second part of the final assignment (oral product). Read
the instructions below. Remember that if you need to review a topic, you can always
check the course material as many times as you need. Keep in mind that you have until
Tuesday of week 18 to present this task.
By end of the course, the student produces information in the English language
expressing frequently used comments, requests, and descriptions at a level A2+ of the
Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
2. Description
▪ Step 1: Collaborative work (get into pairs). The groups must be the same as in
the “Final Assignment - Part I”.
▪ Step 2: Review the course's study materials and your personal notes from each
session.

• Student A is the interviewer who asks the job candidate questions about:
o His/her personal information and the position he/she is applying for.
o Studies, achievements, and work experience.
o Future goals and what they expect from the new job.
o Lifestyle and what they do to keep a healthy life.
o Before ending the interview, ask the job candidate if he/she has any
questions for you. After that, end the interview saying goodbye and
thanking the job candidate for coming.
• Student B is the job candidate who answers all the questions giving
information about himself/herself.
o Before the end of the interview, the job candidate must ask 2 questions to
the interviewer. Thank the interviewer for the opportunity to apply for the
job.
o Keep in mind that this is group work, but the grading will be individual.
• Content:
o Jobs and occupations
o Adjectives to describe people and personality type
o Collocations for achievements
o Healthy and unhealthy activities
o Future time expressions
o Present simple, past simple, present progressive, present perfect,
future with will/“be going to” forms
o Would like to
o Modals can/can´t, have to/don´t have to
o Linkers: “and”, “but”, “because”, so”, “however”, “in addition”.
• Step 4:
o Practice the dialogue with your partner paying attention to the
pronunciation and intonation.
o Remember to transmit your personal emotions as if you were in a real
situation.
• Step 5: Once you are ready, record yourselves in multimedia on the learning
platform or upload your video in Youtube /Drive and share the link in a Word
format on the learning platform.
• Step 6: Use the following structure:
o Cover: Your names and last names must be there. Include your photos.
There are 2 options to do it: (Choose one).
▪ Option 1: Insert the cover in your video if you record it on the
learning platform.
▪ Option 2: Insert the cover in a Word format with the YouTube
link/Drive link.

5. Assessment criteria
Carefully review the rubric that will be used to evaluate your performance in this activity.
You can find the rubric on the learning virtual platform. Make sure you read it in advance
so that you are familiar with all the components and can comply with them effectively.
This will help you reach the best possible outcome in your performance.
