Overview:
For this assignment, you will practice emailing your instructor from your Post.edu
student email account.

Instructions:
If you are unsure of your instructor’s email address, please locate it in the “Meet
Your Instructor” section of the course.

Please include the following in your email:


1. A subject line
a. Please use the following on the subject line: Email Netiquette
Assignment
2. A salutation (greeting) followed by the name of your instructor.
a. Greeting your instructor opens the conversation in a professional way
3. The body of the email
a. Briefly say why you are sending your email.
a. Mentioning the purpose of this email will tell your instructor
why you are sending them this email.
b. Identify five skills that you have today (these can be any skills that you
have)
4. A closing.
a. A closing signifies the end of the email
5. A signature.
a. In the case of an email, the signature is as simple as typing your name
