own a Toyota Livo. Both the families decided to go to Kandariya Mahadeva Temple in
Chattarpur district of Madhya Pradesh, by their cars. Mouli’s car travels at the speed of x km/h
whereas Adrija’s car travels at a speed of 5 km/h more than Mouli’s car. Mouli’s car took 4
hours more than Adrija’s car to travel 400 km.
(i) Frame a quadratic equation based on the above information
(ii) (a) What is the speed of Mouli’s car ?

(ii) (b) What will be the distance covered by Adrija’s car in 2 hours ?
(iii) How much time did Adrija take to cover the distance of 400 Km ?

38. On a forest tour, camels and swans are spotted. One – fourth of a herd of camels was seen in
the forest, twice the square root of the herd had gone to mountains and the remaining 15
