Topic 1: POLLUTION AT HERITAGE SITES
A: Hey, I heard you have a trip to Hội An Ancient Town. Interesting?
B: Yes, I ate banh my, drunk Cộng coffee and take a boat on the river. But there’s one thing that I’m disappointed. A: What’s that? B: That’s some pollution here. When I went for a walk around, I even saw some trash and plastics next to the walls of the old houses. A: Sounds terrible. Nowadays, I always see news about pollution in heritage sites. It’s becoming an alarming problem. B: You’re right. I think the reason is that there are few trash bins and no proper signboards. This can make tourist don’t know how to put trash in the right place. A: You can say that again! I think the main cause is people’s awareness and policy of heritage conservation. If this is not resolved, the problem of heritage destruction will become more serious. B: So we need to do something to prevent it. Many proper signboards should be put in easily seen places with others languages like English, Chinese to help people put rubbish rightly. A: Yeah. The most important that we need to raise awareness by print posters, post on social media,… about consequencies and solutions of this problem. So that everyone can be more conscious in protecting heritage. B: And the government needs to introduce Heritage sites conservation policies to punish who pollute heritage sites. A: Exactly! Heritage sites will be better protected and everyone can keep it intact for centuries. Oh I have to go now. Bye B: Well, talk to you later.
